This video saved me a ton of extra effort. The replacement screen I received was the whole topcase, including the hinges and wifi antenna cables. I was prepared to tear the entire bottom case apart to get to the hinges and antenna connections, possibly (probably) damaging something in the process. With this video I realized I could just open up the topcase and replace the screen panel itself. It saved me a ton of time. Thanks much!
Thank you so much for this video! I have the exact same problem (my daughter destroyed the screen x'D), and the exact same laptop. I wanted to bring it to a professional but unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere soooo 😅 I had no idea it was not that difficult to change a screen, plus it seems to be a very interesting thing to do 😊 Thanks for showing all the steps it reassures me a lot! :D
