Looks like a blast, I miss the nitro days (I know this is 2 stroke gas/oil rig). Sold off my nitros a while back due to health issues, but loved that smell and sound!
@@RCKnockout yir, jumping form a 1/8 scale nitro, to a big 1/5 gas powered, gonna be so much fun.. Can't get the 25% nitro anymore any way, because of the new rules
Cool bash with the Baja 5B, I'm starting to like these HPI 5th scales and i might consider getting a Baja 5B SBK kit either the gas or electric (Flux) kit someday. but i'm currently focused on my X-Maxx and Outcast 8s EXB i also am planning to get my 5ive-T in the next few years.
I always make sure to use thread-lock….It ended up being one of the bolts on the gear plate….it backed out and pushed right up against the spur gear…no damage from what I could tell
I came across the Rovan 5b the otherday by pure fluke I E never seen one in a hobby store and funnily enough the place I found it was like a the hall of fame for nitro cars in the past 10 years.. big block 4.6 savage kyosho etc I was like wtf where y'all been for the past 2 years .. I'm pretty tempted to go out that Rovan 5b on my card lol it's $999 do you think it's worth it or should I just wait a month or so... I just don't want to miss out lol
I think $1000 might be a bit steep for a Rovan if you’re talking U.S. dollars? I’ve seen them for $500-600 maybe less…depends on what features it has I suppose
