In this video I bash my Hpi Baja 5t that has a (7.5hp) O’Neill Brothers Racing 30.5cc Full mod Zenoah motor and a ton of other miscellaneous upgrades!!
We have a 5T and it's your rear shock springs causing the problem... it's called donkey kicking... easy to fix... get the preload off the rear shocks, try some lighter springs, and thicker shock oil!!! Then jump it 20 feet if you like... THEY FLY!!!
Do you like gas or electric power better? They are like 2 different animals but I have always done electric. Right now I have the X Maxx but I'd like to add a gas powered at some point to my collection but is the maint a lot more involved?
Power delivery is better with electric. It’s instant cause you don’t have to wait for the clutch to engage. It takes more maintenance but I wouldn’t say it’s a ton more. You’ll have to mix the oil and gas and get used to tuning the carb some as well and you’ll have to find a place to run it that won’t be causing a nuisance with the noise it makes
@@RCKnockout For sure. Keep up the good content. I get a lot of good entertainment here. You "talked" me outof the Kraton and I went X Maxx and I am glad I did...much more durable. BUT I really want a Kraton 8s so I am hoping in the next few years Armma upgrades the current version to make it more durable because I miss my E-Revo but dude that thing broke all the time. I had hope Kraton would offer a more durable truggy but not yet apparently...but I think they are on the right track.
@@seth9145 thanks man! Yeah If I’d get another EXB it would probably be the Outcast 1/5 scale. But I seriously doubt I will. Pretty sure people are still having breakages. I think they may have just come out with a 1/8 Talion EXB as well. Hopefully Arrma ups their game
ive got the 5b which i turned into all aluminum with the sandrail cage and 4 wheel hydrualic disk brakes and a DDM 30. all they do is spin out constantly
The ramp transition is to short .....iff you jump a dirt bike off a short steep ramp ...you get the same effect ...try a ramp two car lengths ...it'll fly sweet 👍
@@RCKnockout got yer bud ....not trying to sound clever but just noticed the nose dive ....yeah as a rule ...two bike lengths ...or rc truck ...cheers for reply 👍
@@chrisstones37 no worries man! I gotcha. In an ideal world I’d have a ramp that big but I was working with what I got. I thought about propping them up to help give it a steeper approach angle
