Even officers have twisties when eating at That's alotta donuts. Hope to see the HQ and organise another meet night like you did in the Northern suburbs one.
Excellent content, down to earth, straight forward and no bullshit. Awesome work fella's I have just got a sniper for my HJ Sandman and am looking forward to getting running. Thanks for all the tips. Chicken twisties for the win !!!
I used the same kbs product on a vj sedan tank. Same issue with the pooling. I’d suggest adding half, spread around then make a judgement call after that.
@@HackshopGarage any time, always great viewing. Do you guys have a part number for the fuel filter? Looks like it will be perfect for the ls conversion in my 55 compared to other makes big chunky ones.
You guys said you thought they were 1 model away from getting it right. The Sniper 2 system is out, you can upgrade the old one to the new one. Do you think you guys will worry about it?
@@HackshopGarage well that is where it gets interesting. It’s a a 8100 Vortec, also known as the as the gen 7 BBC or L18. It’s not common but I like things different. 😁💪🏻
I would like to see you happy you guys would be while helping me with my 87 camaro I’m not happy completely rebuilt the engine cam up very low budget build and can’t get the used 750 Holley double pumper to let it run
I need to do something like that with my VL Commodore but no one in the Newcastle area has been talking to me in the job front. The only problem that I see with the fuel system is fuel pump cavitation which is what I need to do something about in the VL Commodore as the rubber return hose breaks off inside the fuel tank which returned fuel to a swirl pot which caused aeration therefore pump cavitation which is why I wondered why I kept in going through external fuel pumps in it. I don't know, maybe do what I did & keep the fuel tank up above 1/4,I eventually made an external surge tank up to save myself fuel pumps but I want to integrate that into the fuel tank !
Gday Micheal and Nathan, 3 things, 1 I watched the previous episode twice did you port match the performer manifold to the heads you didn't mention it, unless Edelbrock has lifted their act usually they are just an approximate cast. 2 The pano, Come racing and Griffs rearmount turbo have a video on 308 oiling mods these can be viewed on youtube. 308's are renowned for killing cams and lifters, If you cane them too hard big end bearing 7&8 can have a holiday in the sump speak to your engine builder about this or don't it's your car. 3 fuel economy figures on your conversion would be great.
Hey mate, no we didn’t port the match anything, to be honest, didn’t even cross our minds, had assumed they would bolt straight up. Have heard a lot about oiling issues with these motors, I’m not overly concerned about that as I am not one to really thrash this car or motor. And yep can certainly get fuel economy figures once it’s all sorted
Mmm TWISTY'S I remember when they had bbq twisty's dam they were good lol Not a bad solution on the tank, maybe could of dropped and tilted the tank this would allow the filler to remain central and you could still do the flush access panel on the boot floor
Twisties. Also did you know if you put a paper towel inside the tank and blow it with an air compressor it will dry the inside of your tank or whatever you can't get your hands to fit inside. Your welcome. 😎
