Greetings from America! I have always been infatuated with the Holden brand ever since I learned about it back in 2007. This is a great example of what Australia puts out on the roads. I hope one day to find one of these and import it to the US or take the Chevy SS version and convert it to this sweet example
2 right, always said if I could choose a commy and 10k to spend on it or a Ferrari and 10k to spend on it I'd always go the commy, simply gonna get more out of it. Not to mention half the Ferrari/lambo owners are to scared to drive there cars hard/if at all! God bless Holden XD!
You cant' t beat the look of the VY and YZ Senators but not only is it plain looking, for $90,000 and the tech you get I can find in a 15 year old BMW. If you want a good VF your better off getting a VF SS for $48,000 Supercharge it $62,000 Done.
Yes if you are going to keep it & when something goes wrong you have the $$ to pay for it, but for factory warranty forget it, Holden/HSV you have Warranty back up, if anything is out of wack or not works as it should just take it in & they fix it 100% no questions asked at all ? Which is why so many holdens at car yards with low kms dont go well meaning 30-40Km cars, yet they are less than 1 or 2 years old, because the first owners had OTR/tune/Exhaust & then put it all back to stock by then the motor has been thrashed & auto as well ?
whether your 100% concentrated on the road or not, HSV have thought of these things to increase safety on the road, after all what if your tired or lacking vision in rain. after all there are people out there that care about people such as yourself when you purchase their vehicle, and also make a great family car, which in result means more money in their business, after all they are about to shutdown with Ford.
The car itself is alright. But what are electronic hand brake, lane change warning, front sensors,auto parking and blind spot sensors for? People who buy this kind of car know how to drive.
I`m fine with lane change warning and blind spot sensors. In some levels it does have something to do with road safety. But electronic hand brake? its just took "fun" away from some people. front sensors and auto parking? these are something I personally would only use for couple times. Both are something for new drivers. They will never get better if they only rely on them. Buy a HSV if you dont know how to parking? Go get a VW Golf. I can see some people say it in future.
Hahahaha, I think out of the numerous VE Clubsport/GTS/Senators around where I live, about three quarters are driven by women or overweight executives who can not drive the car anywhere near it's potential. I am not a Holden or Ford person, but it is frustrating to see any overly performance orientated car driven like an old Charade. The rest of the drivers in town are bogans, many of whom have gone sideways into a pole atleast once.
