As an apprentice at Suttons City Holden when it used to be near Kings Cross, I got to drive one of these customer cars for a delivery/drop home. I used the in car phone, called me parents and a mate and thought I was boss! Until a few weeks later my actual boss calls me into the office and asked who I called..... 🤒
when removing tint, try spray some soapy water behind the film as you are pulling it. The heat will soften the adhesive, but then when you spray the soapy water, its like it re-activates/softens the adhesive and helps it to loosen up more.
I agree with removing the tint on this car. Some cars do look better with tint, but the minute it’s getting hazy or bubbling, then it needs to come off.
I reckon to tint or not depends on type of car, but I just tint all of mine in WA - interior gets wrecked otherwise and you get sunburnt through the windows with our sun!
First thing I bought when I got my ve clubby was the hsv brochure.Vs is looking mint with the ocd touch 😏 . Three shades of blue now with the evolution, Rex and hsv 👍
great job so far bud. I dunno about the tint. I get it, when it looks shit, remove it. But on the HSV's i think the dark tint was standard, so I left mine on (HSV VP clubsport) to try and keep it as original as possible. But that's just my opinion. Car looks madanyway, Great job :)
