When it comes to company fire modules of self-propelled mortars, Huta Stalowa Wola ends production of the first order in 2019. (...) It's 64 pieces. We know, however, that the demand of the Ministry of National Defense is greater, connected firstly with the 18th Division, and secondly - with the crawler version of the mortar. - said Bartłomiej Zając, President of the Management Board of Huta Stalowa Wola in an interview with Defence24.pl.
We are open and ready to take all necessary conversations to continue this production - without unnecessary interruptions - in Huta Stalowa Wola, due to several circumstances. Today we are in the production phase, we are speeding up. So we can continue to work successfully. We have a cooperative supply chain running and secured, we also have prices set with our partners - Bartłomiej Zając, President of the Management Board of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A.
In the interview with Defence24.pl TV, the president of HSW also talked about the possibility of further deliveries of Krab howitzers, among others, for the needs of the 18 Mechanized Division. The current contract is to be implemented by 2024.
