Answering questions from my last candle video upload, talking about HTP wicks being discontinued and chit chat about waxes used in my mini candles.
Of course when making candles, it is always mandatory to test everything you do. Even if you found the information on your favourite RU-vid channel. I hope this video will help you get started.

You are the greatest! And the first soap maker I started watching on RU-vid. Finally got the nerve to make cold process soap. Just made my third batch! Thanks Ariane for all the wonderful videos.💜💜💜

I reuse my wick trimmings too! Also I'm not looking forward to retesting all the new HTP wicks when they come out as thats the only wick I use for my candles 😫

Thank you for your video... do you have to trim htp wicks? Mine seem to not need trimming after hours of burning... am I doing something wrong?

In my country, we dont have readily available branded wicks. Most sellers doesnt even have the wick diameter measurements. Im trying out candle making and Im having a hard time testing things out.

For any fellow Canadians who are interested in trying new wax blends: windy point is now carrying the wax blends and wooden wicks that The Wooden Wick Co. in the States carries as well as some fancy candle vessels. I’ve been wanting to try the coconut apricot wax blend for years now but couldn’t stomach the shipping & duties so I was thrilled to discover them with my latest windy point order a few weeks back. Haven’t made any candles yet so can’t comment on the pros & cons of this wax - and I’m a total newbie so probably not the best person to judge, anyway!

Merci! Thank you so much! It's been harder than you think finding someone else using C6 wax. At the moment I'm blending C6 and C3 to make it a little harder. I haven't settled on my ratio yet so still more testing to come. If you have experience with Essential oils rather than fragrance oils I'd love to hear about it. I'm happy to see that I have found many of the same Canadian suppliers that you have. I on the lookout for more :) I'll keep a look out for when you get to test the new HTP wicks. Thanks again

I’ve made over 1000 of these minis candles with C6 & Coco83. However I am planning on going back to CB-Advanced when I receive my wax just because I love not having to blend

Hi! I think you meant “Wade” from Black Tie Barn 😉 (Tim is from Timber Ridge Gifts, but I don’t think he’s making candle videos any more.) I love your videos, btw❤️

Yes I know! I had been watching Tim Schmoyer the day I made this video + lack of sleep and I never realized until the video was uploaded and published. I did fix it by adding a card that links to Wade's channel :-)

What is the diameter of your tins? Mine is 3.5 inch and I was told to use double wicks! It is true?

Are you able to use the wicks a third time? They look long enough but I could be incorrect.
