Thank you so much! You’ve so generously shared so much information with this session. Hoping you could follow through with the second testing of smaller wicks for the tins so we can see what a proper burn would be like. I had no idea about “mushrooming” yet have seen it in many candles I have bought. I had made the correlation of the mushrooming making more “sulling” (?) or black smoke when blown out (which I despise). Thank you again & again ❣️

Great tip to time how long it takes for the wick to stop smoking & actually checking the temp of the wax while the candle is lit. Thank you for sharing a CAD fragrance supplier as well. Keep up the great work!

Hello Ariane, i love watching your vídeos about making candles! I am from Portugal, and it is so hard to find suppliers in Europe, with variety and quality products. Do you know suppliers of products for candles, such as waxes, wicks, frangances, containers and so on, in Europe? I just find a great offer on the sites you recommend in the description of your videos. since I make candles in small quantities, and for personal use, I didn’t want to pay that much for shipping. Can you suggest some? Thank you so so so much! :)

Hi which wick are you using? I’m using soy wax and same tins which ur using but my candles are not melting evenly and the wick is short like it’s burning quickly . Can you tell me why it is happening? Some of my candles are short wick and little bit long so I can see if it burning but it’s not. Please help

and I’m getting tunnelling candles too. Im not getting melt pool at all just a tunnelling .😕 I have seen others candles and their candles is burning so nicely and even yours too

I was wanting to ask about the glass jar in the video you said that you used an HTP 104 and it was overwicked but then you said you know you have to use a 105 for those jars which doesn't make sense so wouldn't you go smaller than a 104 because if 105's are bigger then wouldn't the jar be even more over wicked? tia :)

Hi! She mentioned earlier that she had larger status jars, 12oz, so she already knew that the 105 worked for that. The one is this test was a smaller 8oz status jar and she needed to test for that. I hope that made sense. It's my first time using CB Advanced and I'm trying to figure out a starting point for wick/jar combinations. Sorry in advanced if you already got this information. ✌️

It's obvious from looking at them even on screen that they look different. Middle and glass flame seem to be higher, tin at the end had a steadier flame.

I haven’t tested the CD wicks much. I have CDN, Eco & Premier wicks that I am experimenting with. For the EcoSoya HTP have always been my personal favourite. For coconut 83 I like the Eco & Premier

@@ArianeArsenault ok. I've been testing wicks for a year. I use gw444 and the eco and cd all burned too hot for my jars. I'm very very frustrated.

@@americanladybug3354 try the Premier wicks. Go to The Flaming Candle and click on the Premier wicks. Each wick will give description on what size container it works best in.

They are a few, I think the 105 is in stock. Most aren’t thought. Check the links in my description box, you may have a little luck of you can buy bulk
