How did you make them stick? Layering special htvs will just peel off when washed

mine never peel off. they say that glitter/shiny ones should be the last layer on top, but I have been layering them just fine. recommended to machine wash inside out, cold water. tumble dry low or even hang to air dry. but to be honest my kids stuff that I make... I wash all under warm setting, never have time to turn them inside out and dry full blast lol and my stuff lasts.

lighter pressure for acrylics. maybe like 20-30 wood I usually apply as much as I can anywhere from 70-90. on fabrics like poly or cotton, I apply as much as I can as well.
