HTX 4k Revisited 1 Year Later 

These companies are getting way too comfortable releasing $160+ mouses and expecting us to fix issues ourselves (looking at you Pwnage and G-Wolves)

At this point I might try and reverse engineer a g-wolves dongle to emit a different frequency, it's really annoying when switching mice since all g-wolves mice are on the same frequency

I have a HTX Ace and I really like the mouse, but yeah overall with GWolves its a huge gamba and honestly it might not be worth all the hassle anyways

Yeah that is the thing w/ GWolves. I love my HTX Ace and it's perfect so far but I bought used to save money and I don't want to buy the 4K because of all you've said. So I got a BeastX. :)

my recent batch htx ace had double clicking before firmware update and pretty bad switch grind. great shape and weight but such bad QC. they also don’t include a larger battery anymore so just have to deal with the 75mah stock battery

My htx 4k has tons of problems, i moved to pulsar x2h now became my main mouse LOL

Wait so I don’t get this, is this a common problem? how come I haven’t heard people talk about this more?

My htx 4K developed double clicking with the default settings (fresh reset) and i also have a problem with the scrollwheel giving false inputs. Its scrolling in both directions when scrolling in only one. I only have this mouse for around 5 months and it sucks. Also i could never fully fix the 4K being stable even tho i literally did everything that you can do to reduce system latency.

My copy of the Ace is great apart from having to play russian roulette with my scrollwheel. In my main games it isn't that much of an issue but the second I open apex it's joeover :| Such a waste of potential.

I love my hts4k the shape works great for me. but the sensor keeps skipping like crazy and there's nothing helpful from gwovles at all but telling me to rollback to older firmware etc. i really want to love the mouse but the price tag isn't justified, stay away.

Your reviews are awesome, thanks a lot for the hard work! I’m having trouble finding a comfortable mouse for a knuckle claw grip. We’re similar in terms of wrist health - I cannot afford to have the wrist floating, so I have my palm base on the mousepad and then place the knuckle area on the hump. Only difference is that my fingers are a bit curled. Hands are 18.7x9.5cm. Current mouse is Aria XD7, have tried the GPX2 for a week and it feels like a giant potato. I would like something a bit more stable than the Aria but not as stable as the GPX if it makes sense 😅 Would you say there’s something to try? Thinking Lamzu Maya could fit.

Very unlucky for you to get cucked by wireless interference. My wifi AP is like 2 meters from my desk and I have 0 issues with any of my mice, including the HTX 4k. G-Wolves customer support will be average chinese customer support though, let's hope the new 8k dongle fixes the issue for you and CS ends up sending it out. Personally I've been lucky enough to never have any QC issues aside from an explosive HSK 4k, and support was extremely pleasant / helpful with that issue, but knowing Jim and how people are now told to contact him instead of the email support it must be truly horrible.
