That high static friction is what's bothering me so much with my cheap mousepad when trying to do micro adjustments. What mousepad would you recommend for removing that issue? Through my research I keep hearing that the control pads like the artisan zero, Saturn or zowie GSRSE/GSR2 are really good but the description of them being slower makes me fear they'll give me the same issues. I was also considering getting a Hien.

This is late but by good coating(black version) do you mean becomes more grippy when hot and sweaty or just overall feel.. I get sweaty hands and because of that my favorite coating is no coating.. I do t have any issues gripping mice but I do have an issue with the way coatings become super tacky and retain finger gunk. Overall just a bad feeling to me. I’m looking for the perfect grip tape to cover my mice in. I’ve already gone the route of sanding coatings off mice and it’s too much work
