I have a story about Hu Tao and accumulating primogems as well. I started playing Day 1, and I told myself that I'd save primogems as much as possible (100% F2P here), until Dendro came out. I would still wish here and there, but I wouldn't go after any 5*s. When Hu Tao came out, she was the first 5* that peaked my interest....but I still wasn't paying that much attention to kits/talents at the time. I didn't bother to take the time to read about them or watch videos... I was just trying to stay focused on whatever characters I already had. The deciding factor to not get her, was that she did physical damage (since she's a polearm user) and could only do pyro damage on her burst. So I decided to keep saving primogems. I forget when it was, but I did eventually realize that derp, Hu Tao Skill does pyro damage (it was after her banner was over). But because I kept saving primogems (from skipping her), it eventually lead to a snowball effect with my primogems. I told myself I wouldn't drop below 20,000.... then I'd reach 30,000 and told myself I wouldn't drop below that, then 40,000, and so on. I currently have 142,000 primogems with 43 Fates. Point being: If I wasn't stupid and realized Hu Tao's skill does Pyro damage... that snowball effect may have never happened, because I wouldn't have kept saving my wishes. I do have Hu Tao now (have had her for a while now). I have all the 5*s I want. I was lucky and went 7/7 on my first 50/50s, and I'm something like 20/23 overall now. I've been very lucky. But I often wonder, if I had spent my primogems on Hu Tao when she first came out....if I would have had the attitude of "Whelp, so much for Dendro... guess I'll just wish for lots of 5*s now and see how many primogems I have when Dendro comes out", and never accumulated the primos I have now.

I disagree that the weapon banner isn't worth, it just mostly is. All it takes is good four stars, and you have to be okay with getting either featuref 5 star, I admit though thats easier said than done.

lol hutao is the only character whose sig weapon I pulled, she's got a very fun play style imo
