I've listened versions of this song (on other shows, in his concert, through other reactions, etc). Yours reaction of this song is the best. I've known this is a healing song but not so much in detail until I enjoyed your version of reaction with English subtitles, which strengthens my understanding of it in native Chinese. I mean, the translation of the lyrics makes me better understand/double check its original meaning in Chinese. Hua is philosophical and articulate in music although sometimes he is clumsy in speech. Great song, helpful to those who feels depressed and those who has depressing friends.
Huahua's performance is very powerful and emotional. This song means so much to me and has touched me in so many ways, more than anyone will ever realize. When I'm feeling down or sad, I listen to him and especially this song. It give me hope. ❤️❤️

I enjoy your reaction to Hua chen yu imencely. Allways looking forward to you next rection to his journey on the Singer, but I hope and believe it will not stop after Singer show, your reaction to him that is. He trully is pretty unique as an artist, he has an extraordinary gift og piercing us with emotions, it is like his songs, and especially his performances, are a laser beam of emotion and he makes one feel so incredibly much when it hits. It's like he takes all the emotions that fits in that song, and trow it at us. He is trully unique, in many ways as an artist, but in my opionion it is exactly his ability to make the songs alive with emotions, that makes him the next lvl. He did so good with this song. Not only on Singer, but overall. Releasing this, so honest, incredible and vulnerable song, it was a serious eyeopner for many when it comes to mental health. I am all for artists setting a focus on mental health, IF it is done the right way. And there is no doubt that he did just that. This songs melody is so light and almost carefree, stark contrast to the meaning in the lyrics. He paints a picture about what it is like. People can seem so ok on the outside, but on the inside they are battling demons, not always able to see the point in continuing this seeming everlasting battle. When it is so it can make all the diffrence receiving a phone call or a visit where the person shows that he is there, he sees you.
Love that you take your time at the end to reflect on the song and share your thoughts. Hua was in depression once, but he was able to come out of it with help of friends and support of his fans. I think several part of the lyrics are from his real life experience. He is so brave to share his feelings in hope his song can help others with depression. Such a kind soul. This song is the first of the trilogy discussing depression. The other two are “Madhouse” and “Conversation with the Martian Children”

The thing I like about reaction videos is your horizons are broadened. This young man can wrench such emotions from me. If not for your channel I would have missed that experience. While watching him sing the environment song. I was concerned for him. He has such a force to his performances. He puts everything he has into his songs. When someone puts that much of themselves into what they are doing. Alot of the time there isn't anything left to replenish their spirits. We have seen many talented and giving people burnout quickly because of this. While watching him I feel so much. If he can make you feel that strong of emotions and empathy. Imagine what he feels when completing the music. He doesn't look like he's 30. To see all the aspects of life and be able to share those feelings is a gift. It's ironic that I felt that way about his work. Then today he shares such a beautiful heartwrenching view of what it feels like to deal with depression. It tells me I was right in my concern for him. He is a gentle soul. At least he showed me that he sees the pitfalls you can face and still have hope. I don't know if someone already commented this here but on his other program it was mentioned the story of this song.. one day, he was at home standing on his balcony when he suddenly thought of jumping.. he wrote the song after that... He would like to help and reach out to people who felt that way in certain times.. hearing this song always brought tears to my eyes, and when i watched that program, i cried real hard that i need to pause the video every second...

Many people depressed might knew that this is the way to leave that depress state. But aren't talk is cheap? it's easier said than done. Even after know this, we still can't get out easily from the grip of depression.
