On October 22, Huawei held a major event at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, introducing what it called China’s first native mobile operating system, “HarmonyOS NEXT.” This operating system is marketed as the world’s third major mobile system, after iOS and Android. The release stirred excitement online, with patriotic “little pinks” calling it a “pure-bred Harmony,” a “breakthrough against U.S. blockades,” and a “historic milestone.” Huawei is now viewed as a source of national pride for these users.

"HarmonyOS achieved in 10 years what took other systems 30-40 years" Is he the CEO, or a clown? The first iphone began development in 2004, and was released in 2007. Android 1.0 was released in 2008, with 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) being the first to be a real rival for Apple releasing in 2011. It hasn't even been 20 years since either were even first conceptualized.

I don’t bother with any Chinese phone brand now. If I want Android, there’s Samsung. Based on experience, Chinese (Xiaomi at least) cuts corners on certain components trying to hit a specs to price point.

What they are doing with Harmony is a good concept, but I don’t know about the execution. a company like Tesla who wants to push their own ecosystem and Xai in the future really should develop their own Linux based operating system for phones, laptops, watches, cars, home automation, etc. Otherwise these big companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft would be able to leverage their market domination over phones and PCs to give, for example, ChatGPT AI assistant on iPhone an advantage over Elon Musk’s Xai.

If it's a beta build then that means it is being tested. If you sign up to be a tester don't be surprised when some things don't work properly. That's the point, to find out where the kinks are so they can be fixed. If it's a full release as a finished product then yes, that is a major problem though.

As am talking now Wechat is been testing on harmony os next and will be released on upcoming stable version with mate 70 series.
