Regarding your question, oki once you replace the new battery you need to follow this steps: #1. don't power on the laptop (if you did power off) connect the charger and leave it charging for 4-5h #2. after full charge disconnect the charger and power ON the laptop and use it for basic use nothing heavy with LCD brightness down to 405 or less and let the battery drain down to 30-20%, then power off #3. connect the charger and leave it charting for another 4-5h and after that you can power on and use it as you normally use, with charger plugged in or not. the initial charge and discharge it is very important for the new batteries. is there a cmos battery on this laptop?

Regarding your question, this laptops do NOT have a dedicated cmos battery, they use the main internal battery as the source of the power, if you want to reset the cmos configuration (not the password) you can disconnect the main internal battery and press and hold the power on button for 40sec then the cmos chip configuration will be reset to default except the cmos password that is set on a independent chip U3. cheers🍻

There are no simple fix instructions available for the laptops with these models experiencing issues when received at the store. The problem appears to be related to faulty components, such as a capacitor or a voltage regulator on the board. One possible solution is to try uninstalling and reinstalling the AC drivers (try this).
