The Matebook 14S Is really good and a cheap but still great option.

The 6800U would be great in this I agree.

In Spain this is 1599 euros. That Vivobook looks really nice, shame I have no ASUS contact to get a review unit.

Their Zenfone 8 is phenomenal. ASUS are legit committed to solid products !

I have no experience with Asus to be honest, I'm looking for a new laptop and the M5402 checks all the boxes, Ryzen 6900HX or 6800H , 14.5 inch (2880×1800) Oled , 120Hz refresh rate ,550nits display, lots of ports, 90W AC adapter, one extra slot for DDr5 , and surprisingly 3.5mm audio jack 😀 . I can't find the exact price yet , just one article mentions ~€1700 , but it’s not available anywhere yet , I was hoping you'd know 😉

It should have come with 12th i7 1280p processor even 1240p has much greater performance than this 😑

It is really good, one of the best I've heard those mics. And the 6 speaker system is also just as impressive!

Depends if you need Windows apps or not but the MacBook has the best battery life out of the two. And if you need MacOS. Otherwise this is an excellent Windows laptop.

After seeing the pathetic battery life of the 2022 x1 carbon (with 12gen intel), 11gen intel may actually be the preferred choice for some. Ryzen 6000 would be my pick if I get to choose, but they're unlikely to make it into these flagship laptops.

None with my other Huawei tech but I haven't charged any Xiaomi phones with it. Normally I just charge the laptop with it not other tech.

It's normally in my laptop reviews right? I couldn't get my live pen to boot. I was mentioned at the end or so I thought seems it's another take.

I can see everything is smoother and if you're use to gaming at 120hz or a phone you'll defiantly notice it. For sure the higher resolution takes a bit of a toll on the battery life, I hope the next model they can give us 12th gen Intel or Ryzen 6000 option with a larger battery.

That means you're blind lol 😂 you can obviously see the difference specially when scrolling social media or comments

I barely notice 120hz. I switch back and forth between 120 and 60H devices and only notice on fringe use cases. On phones it's even less important since most apps and games are capped at 60 anyway

@@ov1lord i have a 144hz monitor and compared to 60hz, I do notice. But 90hz and 60hz is only noticable to me when you compare it side by side. Without a side by side comparison, i dont notice it.

Nothing yet, I can't wait to test them but I really thing they cannot be far off. I would say the next 1-3 months we should see this or the Matebook 14 series with 12th Gen.

Yes it has 11th Gen last gen Intel. This is why I think there must surely be a refresh model coming soon? Otherwise it's going to be almsot impossible for them to compete with all the new 12th Gen 1270P 12 cores and 16 threads laptops. Vs this quad core with 8 threads... if this had the 1270p, plus one Type-A USB it would be perfect (if priced correctly)

Still at least one port is really nice to have I think.

Actually looking over the specs on the official page of it it doesn't say or show TB 4.0. I'll ask my Huawei contact.

All are Thunderbolt 4 ports, they just stop mentioning it since 2020 model because of copyright problems due to sanctions.

Lol if it was sponsored you think I would mention it overheats and hits 100 degrees. It’s a loan it and they don’t allow anyone to open them up as some idiots damaged units in doing so now we all can’t open them. So much for being open and mentioning it but people like you still take it the wrong way 🤦‍♂️

@@Techtablets I wouldnt say thos is a showcase or preview. He definitely nitpick about the older gen processor and the lack of type A port.

@@Techtablets So to explain once again the screen has dimm line of pixels (not dead). Line is quite long - it goes parallel to side bezel. It is clearly visible on non-white and non-black images. Anyone that I have shown the screen noticed it. Huawei says that there is no issue with the screen. To give broader context - they replaced the screen during the first warranty repair, however the issue came back also on new screen. I sent it for repair 3 times but they claim that there is no issue with the screen. They clearly lie to not repair it (other people on reddit also reported similar issues so it might be a little more common than some freaky flaw). I should proceed with this but I decided to let it go and never buy any Huawei stuff again.

Yes that should like a hardware fault and if it returned then it's the same fault. So it should be fixed!

So the problem is in huawei batteries not that windows 11 drains it?

@@Techtablets there will be, but given they just refreshed it with 11th gen, they are 1 year behind with the hardware.

Might have been that but it didn't seem to affect them last year. Or they are down on the waiting list for 12th gen parts.

@@Techtablets Yes, that was what I was thinking, they get the latest but later than Intel and AMD main customers. Politically the US Gov cannot make too much of a fuss about that! Huawei trying to keep a low profile to avoid more sanctions.
