Like many many years ago JVC (or was it Casio?) had a similar design in compact cameras and during the last few years i'm pretty sure that ASUS used it in one of there SmartPhones too. I think recently there was also a news about Oppo doing the same. So the general idea is pretty old, it's just not used by many companies yet..

@Cyberdemon Mike True, of course. But thing is, I think (at least for some products) this will actually have a better conversion rate. I would consider taking a look at, or even buying a product much more like this, then when I'm super annoyed by the 5 minutes someone screamed it in my face repeatedly... But maybe that's just me. What I can say undisputedly though is: That this videos have such a unreal level of quality with so much work going into it, and extras like robot arm shots and colourised super detailed arranged thumbnails and so on, that I think it is super fair, for him to have it sponsored and that the way he did the sponsoring message was neatly integrated in the video blending in with the rest and leaving the choice whether you'd want to check it out to the viewer. Soo overall: Just liked it and thought it was well deserved.

I'm pretty sure telephoto lenses are going to be one of the most used and highly demanded features on new phones in the next few years. Long focal lengths "was" one of the last reasons for casual shooters to own a dedicated camera.

@@shanboss8296 In the battle between hardware vs software, it's always the hardware that takes the lead. Huawei has been stacking phenomenal camera hardware co-engineered by Leica in their smartphones and there is no doubt about it.

CHINTAN PATEL you’re right, in some aspects. Google has some cool software features that outperform the huawei, like ar and 360 view. Zoom is cool I guess

Imagine a phone with a Huawei set of cameras, a Samsung screen, and Google software, all with Apple build quality (or within an Apple-like ecosystem)

Honestly Huawei did not get this big by entering into any markets outside of China. Just check out their regional sales. Is Huawei shady? Who knows. That is like asking a regular citizen if they know some of China's military assets in detail, it is just way beyond daily consumers' knowledge base. There is always the possibility, just like with almost every tech giants out there.
