Soooo because of you guys I stopped at a Nigerian restaurant called Jollof Pot. I had chicken, fufu and spinach. When I tell you that food was spicy…I wasn’t ready but I couldn’t stop eating it. Omg I have to go back
It’s not just spicy. It is fire fire spicy killer. It washes aka eats up anything on the throat wall. You bite once you gulp a glass of water and then use fresh napkin to dry the eyes😂. You feel as if the pupils have run off the socket in shock and you start chasing the pupils to return them back. 😂😂
I love when people of different cultures come together as a couple. There is so much to learn from each other. Especially when it comes to food. The fact that Bambi is willing to try Nigerian food which is very spicy, shows how much she loves and respects Lamb’s culture. I love them as a couple! ❤
He so love his food. No matter what culture he enjoys eating. I love the way your wife is enjoying her Nigerian food as well. I hope to try it one day.
We Africans generally eat with our hands at home. It's the culture. Besides, food does taste better when eaten that way. Cheers to you my sista. Much love and respect from a brotha in the Motherland Kenya. ✌️
Poor Ling. I understand what you mean Lamb. My Nigerian husband pays someone to cook all his food. I know how to cook it too but if he wants to pay someone, I'm not mad at him.😁 Me being from Louisiana, I'm enjoying it too. The Jollof rice is similar to our jambalaya and also some of the soups that we call stews; example- fish stew, mackerel, spinach/collard greens (smothered), okra. My daddy ate tripe, cow leg, and gizzards 🤢. Every Fourth my parents friends would have a whole goat going around over a bbq pit. Yup I'm from the country and I love my spicy food. My husband always says he feels like he's in Nigeria when it comes home with me.
My sista, your husband feels so, because many that were enslaved came from Nigeria, especially the Yorubas and Igbo. Even though uprooted from their ancestral homeland certain aspects of culture never die, such as culinary arts. That's why the jumbalaya is similar to jollof rice. He can relate to the cook outs because it's similar to what is in West Africa. Even here in East Africa where I'm from, I will be at ease if I were to have the privilege to grace one of your cook outs. In essence, we black folk whether in the continent or the diaspora can relate one way or the other regardless. Much love and respect to you and your husband from a brotha in Kenya. ✌️
When Lamb turns his cap the other way and takes his jacket off, just know the food is tasty. Long thanks for being so natural and Lamb, you are truly a gentle man. 😍
This Nigerian food usually takes time to prepare and it’s all fresh and made from the scratch! I’m so proud of Ling for eating one of Nigerian delicacy with her husband. Keep up the good work guys! You’re loved ❤
My grandfather was from Nigeria, sadly I never knew him, but I was asking someone from Nigeria last December where to go for Nigerian food and you’ve just reminded me that I need to get myself over there.
Stop by at LAGOSIA restaurant in Asetokumbo Ademola street Victoria Island, Lagos anytime you visit Lagos Nigeria. The food is the best in my opinion 😂😂
His excitement is palatable! Living overseas I felt this way when we would find American food. I wasn’t as vocal in this way, but I feel his response deep in my soul. So happy for him getting his food and getting to share his culture with his wife.
I was born in France but i'm african like both of you, and i liiiiike the food of Senegal, my country. If you taste it you won't stop to eat it. By the way, my cousin lives in Nigeria and he really enjoy the Nigerian food, he calls it moments of joy. It can be fun if someday you do a video with recipes or restaurants of different types of african food. It is an idea, but if you ever did it can you give me the link to the video? Keep on make us laugh, you do it so well! God Bless you!
Its really cute and funny when He eats good food, but man is it hilarious when he eats HIS food, and you can tell by the way he eats it, he aint kidding about loving Nigerian food. It looked good, would love to try some, tho the spice sounded a bit scary lol.
@@dlilwon I’m actually surprised that IN REFERENCING my ethnic AND cultural origins to give #Ling appreciation on how MUCH I admire her courage, it is my cultural heritage that is the focus? SO FOR CLARITY, MY PARENTS ARE NIGERIAN, AND I AM BORN AND RAISED IN ENGLAND. NOT SCOTLAND, WALES OR NORTHERN IRELAND. WHICH MAKES ME AN ENGLISH NIGERIAN. THE FACT THAT I CAN SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFY WHO I AM SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE FOCUS. The fact that it was is a much larger conversation🤔🤔🤔
Aww Ling I’m glad you know Nigerian food is always spicy and you said it’s cleansing your soul, lamb helping you fan your mouth you both are amazing couple. God will continue to bless your home ❤amen.
Lamb is a 9ja foodie at heart💯😂🇳🇬I was like that too Ling when I first tried Nigerian food. My ex husband was from Lagos and my face would be red red and they were too tickled at my sufferings😂😂😂😂
Funny how Ling chews the fufu and doesn't even get enough soup in the fufu 😄😄. Important rule of eating fufu: no chewing, just swallow . Don't just dip the fufu in the soup, scoop enough soup like Lamb is doing . Lovely vibes 🙌🙌
I'm a African from Liberia. I love watching you and your beautiful wife .I so love my African food and know how to cook almost all of them. I eat African food everyday.
