That was a home run! The restaurant had such a nice atmosphere. I love the way the food was plated. It was very pleasing to the eye. I also love a good meatloaf. It was nice to know that it had green peppers in it. I believe that green peppers really add to a meat loaf. That was a nice touch the way they piped the mashed potatoes on the plate. I know I would have taken a picture of the plated food before I took a bite! The tomato bisque soup looked delicious!
It was so good. Wanted to get the crab cakes but not on the menu so tried the meatloaf. It was a good choice. You would love it. If you are in this area stay here and eat here. Video Of Hotel Probably Friday. Thanks for watching
Everything looks delicious. I have been there often, in fact you were sitting at the table my family and I always sat at. Two years ago when we were back in Amish Country I called to make reservations and was told they were closed to the public and only allowed visitors who were staying there to eat . So disappointed!! It was really something before covid took over. At dinner they had a piano player singer who was great. The seafood was fantastic. The rooms were way more expensive than you paid so you lucked out. The last two years I have been down there, I never called to see if they were allowing the outside to dine there. But it was a great experience.
Oh my gosh! The food coming out to your table looks like pictures in a food magazine. Looks so fresh and absolutely yummy! The prices are great too. Bobbie, I love the blouse you are wearing in this video, and how the color coordinates with your nail polish, very pretty, you always look so elegant!

Thank you. We filmed the whole hotel it is a riverboat themed inn. It's probably our favorite hotel in Lancaster. We will try and put it out next it will be long. We just put out a Baseball Restaurant vlog also. We tried this morning you tube got us for copy right music because of radio playing above our heads. I pulled it tried again tonight by putting music in where we are talking to off set it. It worked lol.
I have heard the Amish pronouncing like you said but everyone I know who goes there pronounce it like us so hard to change. Even the tourist videos on you tube pronounce it same way. I will always pronounce it wrong I guess lol 😆
You were down the road from the the famous shoofly Pie spot with all the colorful lights and big wooden windmill a top of the building there . I figured I would let ya know for next time because you said you like shoofly pie
That is a tiny portion for what you are paying I would expect 2 of those slabs of meatloaf and 25% more mashed. What was it 14$ That would be like 18 up here and I would not be happy with that portion.
The Meatloaf was grilled so it was pretty moist. This place usually has a very good menu but is still using the takeout menu. Was surprised though like you they didn't make homemade dressings. 😎
