This was great. If you get a chance in the future, please make another tutorial on how to place a rectangle with a solid fill behind specific words/strings (with padding). Ideally with a slider to select the word range (or multiple sliders to select multiple ranges within a single paragraph).

Because of this requirement we have said NO to lot of our clients. Now this is not the case anymore. Thank you Nate for this tutorial.

I mark a section within a text by enclosing it with **TEXT **. How can I detect it and change the font style and color of the marked words?

Does anyone happen to know if it is possible to create a script for AE 22.1.1 (that does not benefit from the CharacterRange capability) that allows the modification of the fill of individual words and characters with specific colors? Does it support such a script? I am trying to create it using chatGPT but can only manage to fill entire rows, not specific characters/words. Any advice is very helpful. Thank you
