@@dsandoval9396 it is really good don't listen to this video they only had 1 episode where it was really boring but the anime definitely did not fall off
@@r3ktfox146 the momentum is still there lol y'all are just overreacting they only used the suits in fights for like 2-3 episodes but only one of them was actually boring
@@saintsforever3751 ah yes, the "messiah ending" that people wanted was not there. Lmao, so out of touch that you people enjoy only the animation and not the message the author is trying to convey.
@@HenSt-gz7qj Literally the new characters don't even care about looking for their parents. The only good character in that show is inuyasha's daughter, because she is the only one who doesn't bore me to death
Agreed. I will say however that they seemed to have listen to these comments when making the manga version of Yashahime as the pacing is better and original characters are more involved than anime
@@nonecomentaryguy430 well, the protagonist really just wanted to be with her twin after finding out the fact, not so much for her parent since she never met them before anyway... And when they met, the first impression isn't that good either (with Sesshomaru being himself)
Yashahime biggest problem is it wanted to borrow so much from inuyashas established characters but not have them make any meaningful contributions in person
@@maximilianweber3743Was AoT much better? From what I heard, Eren had his f%cked up death to save the people who had ‘insert prized blood’, but apparently war still went on and so many years later everything’s still destroyed.
Seraph of the end is such a good story. And such a shame they never started season 3 bc it literally becomes a huge rabbit hole from there on forward. I can recommend reading the manga and the Light novel bc when you rewatch the show again you will see so much in a different light
Seraph the end was so damn cool, I remember absolutely loving it, it was in my constant rewatched anime list, I was so sad they didn’t get another season. The one thing I didn’t like that much about the seasons we did get was the high school setting in the beginning, like they coulda just been in an army setting not a whole high school and second that some plot points were a little outa nowhere besides that like it was one of the anime’s where some scenes rlly got me emotional. Like with yuu and Mika fighting in separate areas while Mika is desperately trying to find him and that amazing soundtrack playing like damn I still remember the “SO WHERE ARE YOU NOOOOW” and it been years.
I have read fanfictions that were waayyyyy better than the sequel garbage and that's sad to say 😞 😢 😭. This anime felt like a money grab and the kids especially Sesshomaru's unlikable kids were felt like ocs someone in the studio added
@@arantarisu_yamu2414I'm glad to see someone else hated his kids. I hated Towa more but they were both awful. Inuyasha and Kagome's kid was pretty much what I expected, but he backstory is horrible. But the whole show's plot is horrible.
@@dawnmana5876 Yeah! Kagome and Inuyashas daughter was fine but her character was so badly written and the twins to me were a complete joke. I can just tell the creators of the sequel didn’t even bother trying because it felt like they were using the nostalgia bait to hook us to it. I have read many fanfictions that were so good to a point i wish they were real. The saddest part is that this anime could have had a decent sequel but they missed it. Such a big disappointment
I don’t know, man and most of the sub credits, groups and discord groups. I’ve seen incredibly hard even in person. I don’t see people talking about it anymore.
It fell off hard when they started doing that dumbass super armor stuff. It was a series that had 4 good ovas in it and should have never had time to breathe and think.
Seraph of the end would have been so much better if they fixed a few episodes pacing and another season. Has some of the greatest fights and great characters that would have developed great given another season.
No, stop asking for older animes to be updated. Why cant you appreciate older things? People wanted a fresh new scooby doo reboot and we got Velma. People wanted an Inuyasha reboot too but we got Boruto 2.0
The sequel could have been great, but the way they wrote off old characters as ‘just not in the picture’ was ridiculous. Koga, for example, would have been searching everywhere for Kagome (and Inuyasha 😅) if he found out Sesshomaru had sealed them away like that, he would have attempted (probably in vain) to beat the shit out of him. And he certainly would have been far more involved in raising Moroha, the fact he only ‘raises their daughter’ but then immediately kicks her down the road to some acquaintance was utter nonsense. Last example off the top of my head is Sesshomaru. Seriously? He goes around with no explanation and barely even uttering a word, just expecting his daughters to know what to do??? AND THAT ENDING!!! “Your father’s a lord so that means…” uh, NO! Get your fluffy ass back down here and say some words of praise to your damn half demon daughters!!! Saying ‘he’s a lord’ as a reason why he’d ignore them like that constantly, HE PAID FAR MORE ATTENTION TO YOU, RIN!!! -_- I just quit the show afterwards, and I’m sorry it died, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg, and was completely f^cking ridiculous.
IMO Yashahime should have been a slice of life, and if it did well that's when they do a more action oriented anime,.. this would also allow for new characters to naturally grow on the audience while also being able to write how/why the old cast doesn't make a return outside of a few scenes.
Gawd yes! Ninja Kamui had such a fantastic first episode!! but kinda just fell off after that. The big thing is the mecha suits already mentioned, but also that alot of the fights just end up being lack luster cuz they don't even show the full fight and also with them being in mechs, it not only takes away from the ninja abilities they had already built up but also deminishes the threat of death by alot(at least to me anyways). The other thing thats lack luster about the show is that it just...expects you to feel things for the characters and their supposed "bonds" without actually showing us their bonds forming. Like when SPOILER ALERT Emma dies, I honestly felt nothing for it even though I really wanted to. Its the same for the "rivalry" with Higon and Zai(i think thats his name?) They told us how they and the girl(who I also forgot the name of) met and became a team but you just don't....feel anything. There is no real emotion shown between any of the characters that they tell us have emotional connections with. Buuut that all being said, I still like the series >w> I can see the obvious flaws with something and still enjoy it.
If you ask me, berserk is another anime that fell off quick. I mean, the hype before the anime is MASSIVE, and when the anime released and the abuse of CGI is revealed, it disappointed fans. When can we get berserk justice 😔😔😔
Well, Berserk was never about the anime so I guess you could say the anime fell off quick or we could pretend the anime dont even exist. But yeah my point is, no one see Berserk anime as a medium but only the manga.
She was actually 15 at the start and at the end she was 18 when she married inuyasha the ship with rin I honestly have no ideas of how to back it up but the kagome and inuyasha I definitely can
Seriously I don't know how anybody working on the sequel can think "yeah let's make a grown man character and CHILD character whose main interaction is when the child character is like four yeah let's have them be a couple yes this is what the loyal audience of the first series wants" doesn't matter if they waited till she's an adult still gives the most creepy vibes. She WAS A SMALL CHILD through the audience's ENTIRE experience of the first show having a single like minute flash of her as an adult in the sequel does not justify it or really make anyone think of her as an adult
@@angelfox8 Probably because this show takes place in the 1500s, where people married at much younger ages so it makes sense why. What I don't understand is why people bitch about this to such an extent, but don't complain about Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship or sango and maroku's.
@@jarrettodom3943.............. . .. ............ Because they are age appropriate to their mental level and consent ability. The fact you aren't listening to literally the video and the commenter I'm betting you'd love to meet a rin.
@@jarrettodom3943 because both kagome and Inuyasha are Both at the SAME Maturity at about 14 through the ENTIRE first show( yes with how hanyu age ( at least in the first show before the author tried the retcon it) Inuyasha is the equivalent of a 14 year old) and Sango and Maroku are Both Depicted As ADULTS Through The ENTIRE First Show SO YES NO ONE'S COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP ( the you idiot is implied)
@@githrenmoonpetal3232 No It just a stupid thing to compare given the ages of the other characters. Your equating modern day society to people that live in the 1500s, also the fact Rin gets married around 17-18 years old. I understand the reasoning, but people don't call out Inuyasha despite the fact he's over 200 years old.
I wouldn’t say that Seraph of the End felled of or anything it had a slow start and a few problems but that’s it it never lost in hype/quality nor did it really improve it was a Decently Good Anime. Especially since for something to fall of it had to peak early.
I'll never get over the fact that I told all my friends Rin was going to end up being the mom, and they all thought I was crazy and that they wouldnever do that. I have read thousands of manga in my life. Am i proud of that? No, not really, but I knew thats where they were going with it because of that.
I really hate that new ship in Inuyasha. I've watched that show with my sisters and we all were so disgusted with Rin and Sesshomaru's relationship together. He practically knew her when she was a child. The fact there's people who ship it disgust me the most. We just act like it doesn't exist, just like Boruto.
@@davidwelch100 It's not the age that matters since in the end they are demons. Its the fact that seshomaru and rins relationship was built around them having a father daughter dynamic
My problem with Yashahime was that the main character was Sesshomaru and Rin's daughter. In Inuyasha Sesshomaru only ever saw Rin as his pup not as a potential mate. Which makes the fact they had a kid together incredibly awkward and creepy. Rin was still a child when Inuyasha ended.
Ninja Kamui feels like that anime teenagers want to show their parents to prove anime is not for kids. Its biggest (and only) draw was the fight scenes and animation but with the CG battlesuits its lost its appeal
@@arushamshafeeq9428 Use your brain the only reason power ranger popular because of English language and also tokusatsu are not mainstream like anime I bet you didn't watch any super sentai
Towa was cripplingly stupid. The first major villain's plot was expedited significantly because she directly and happily helped them for no good reason.
i love Inuyasha so much and it pains me to say Yashahime is barely an anime itself. it feels like really bad fanfiction where for whatever reason the original characters do certain things that make no sense like Koga selling InuYasha’s daughter off to some random dude or Kaede Miroku and Sango being aware of her existence but not giving a shit enough to idk take care of her or at least keep tabs on her since idk her parents were their friends? 0.o then for some reason Myoga isnt a character anymore but is just reduced as to what i can only describe as an encyclopedia where he randomly appears to explain a monster or lore lmao
Seraph of the end is still pretty popular but it just hasn’t been continued is the issue so no one’s talking about it. Usually you don’t hear a whole bunch about a manga until the anime gets announced or right before. I think the first episode is one of the best first episodes for a anime out there. Wish they’d animate more of it.
When you said "It's been 9 years and no season 2" and I felt myself physically wither. I genuinely remember sitting and watching it and I didn't realize it's been that fucking long. 😭
Yeah but inuyasha didn't fucking raise her like what? And he act like a normal teen boy cause even with his demon age he was still a teen just like kogome unlike Sesshomaru. Dude acts and is an adult man in demon years and help raise Rin who was 9. And to turn around and have children with a child is fucking weird even for it's time. Like that shit fucking creepy.
Only people in the west were concerned with Sesshoumaru and Rin's relationship. It didn't seem odd to me considering the medieval setting and the fact that Sesshoumaru is literally a demon that's hundreds of years old. Any human is a kid to him. What was really bad about the show was mostly his and Rin's kids plus the horrid plot. The twins were utterly unlikeable, especially Towa. Plus, Towa being raised by Kagome's brother makes no sense at all.😮. They also seemed to throw out all established lore about half demons with the twins. It can be excused with the quarter demon since we've never seen one of them before. My biggest gripe was how utterly nerfed Sesshoumaru was. He was so weak. In the original, he might lose. He might have setbacks. But he was NEVER weak.
the reason seraph of the end never has gotten a season 3 is mainly because the manga has not have a good cut off point since volume 11 which is where season 2 ended, er are at now at 32 volumes and each arc slide into each other with out any breathing room.
Im still so mad that they never made a third season of Sarah of the end because the manga is still ongoing, and the story just keeps getting better (in my opinion)
I don't know why Seraph fell off, maybe it's cause I binged it so I experienced it differently than everyone else, but I was so surprised that no one talked about it much after I finished it. It had so much meme potential. Like with quotes like these: "I am the King of Salt" "It's a sin to be a virgin"
A part of me appreciates the fact that Seraph of the End didn't go full blown popular. Thanks to that, there's hardly any spoilers going around the internet 😂😂 since mystery is one of its strong point
I just wish they brought back kagome’s blue eyes that she had in the manga so that way moroha could have blue eyes when using her priestess powers. It would’ve been cool to see her eyes turn blue the same way they turn gold when she uses her demon powers. Then they could turn green when she is doing a sort of mix of both demon and priestess powers.
