I'm a dentist and also pregnant and the one concern I have with the pacifiers you bought are they may cause an open anterior bite (upper and lower front teeth may not touch when he bites down). If you can, I would return them and get pacifiers that are ortho teats. NUK sell a decent one but there are a few other brands out there. It will hopefully save you in dental bills in later years!
The boppy lounger is essential! I seriously loved this, my daughter would fall asleep in it on the couch next to me all the time. I 100% loved this and my friend who I passed it on to loved it so much she got one for her friends baby.
OMG! SO I KNOW THIS VIDEO IS FROM 2 years ago BUT I am having my 4th child and your theme is exactly my theme I had chosen (bumble bee), plus I did get rid of everything after my 3rd thinking we were done (hahaha) so I've had to buy everything new again, and lastly I was super excited that I finally did buy somewhat of a dock-a-tot used from someone and it's the same one as you. Hahaha!!! Wow, we literally went/are going through the same thing.
I really appreciate these Videos ! I’m not even married yet ( this summer lol whenever my priest decides we are good after precana ) but I’ve been super interested in homebirth / homeschool my church is TLM and basically everyone there homeschools and home births . So this is awesome for me to start learning more about now outside of when I actually do become pregnant
I love seeing baby things! My son will be two in a few weeks. I can’t believe he is growing so fast. We are actually going to be ttc baby number two soon so that’s exciting. 💗
Great video! It’s so funny, I’m expecting baby number 5 in just a few weeks and I ALSO got rid of literally all of my baby stuff after number 4 🙃. I also purchased that exact doc a tot dupe lol and I’m excited to try it. Just a couple more things to grab before baby arrives 💛
Omg, i always get a special blankie for my new babies too ! And I'm getting a big sunflower seed oil (: I'm feeling the ocean theme this time. Congrats on your baby boy. My last 3 births were natural. I'm thinking epidural for this one. You're brave.
Hakka is good for catching leaks :) I haven’t found it good as a pump, I use avent hand pump and medela harmony manual breastpump . Also Comfort feeding is often actually cluster feeding to increase your supply to meet bubs needs and growth. Mastitis is my nemesis, I get it regularly too when feeding my under ones. Been breastfeeding 10 years solid atm my youngest is 2 and still going and number 4 is on the way, I’m hoping with a toddler on the same time as a newborn I’ll avoid the mastitis this time round as toddlers are more efficient at emptying the boob when there’s signs of a block. An electric vibrating massager is great for clearing lumps/blocks causing mastitis along with warm/hot hand towels as a compresses.
I loved this! I seriously can’t wait to have another baby! It is such an exciting time and your so so close to meeting your little bundle of love! ❤️ I also love that you shopped around to get a good deal on things too! It always amazes me how expensive baby products are 🤯.
I love the Boppy Lounger! My youngest (besides my newborn daughter is 12). I never had one with my other 3 kids and this is a life changer for us. My daughter gets hiccups all the time and like her to sit up at a small incline. I’m going to look for that oil because I want to take newborn pictures of my daughter, but her skin is shedding so much.
My oldest would only take gerber pacifiers, they are shaped like the BIBS brand you got. My last baby she loved DR browns and the Gummy drop pacifiers. So i decided to try the dr browns first. But by 6 months my oldest refused to take hers she just wanted her silky blanket and my youngest stopped taking hers around 4 months when she was able to get her thumb in her mouth.
That doc a tot dupe looks good. What will you put down to protect it? Is there a cover or could you just use a blanket? First time seeing your videos. I am going to babysit my first grandbaby due in August. So trying to learn about all this new baby stuff.
I’m trying it again this time but I wasn’t a huge fan. For one the baby would kick it off and for two both my boobs were just totally hanging out and although I don’t mind feeding in front of my family, I felt it was a little much for my boob to be sucked into this thing 🤣 I got the haaka lady bug this time. They are a bit different but hope they work
Try Ryan & Rose for amazing clips and pacifiers. Bonus...they are doing 20% off right now for the month of June! But I used them for both Joey and Sam.
Very nice and neat things you got for baby and yourself. I’m glad you picked up the top n bras for your comfort too. Can’t wait for the baby’s arrival! Take care
So glad you showed that lounger thing at the end, I have it on my registry but wasn’t sure if I’d buy it if it’s not gifted and now I think I have to! 😂
Love the Hakka for like $12 it was worth it to avoid that clogged milk duct & engorged feeling & ive never bottle fed but I see how much milk it collects I’m considering saving it for daddy to feed. But I feel bad because my daughter never had a bottle & she bf for 4 years 3 months. Omg that’s my baby color too we do lots of black white & gray & teal because we don’t find out the sex & I would like to reuse all our stuff that’s still in good condition too.
I highly recommend the newborn mam pacis! They aren’t as trendy cute, but the only one my baby took. I got a free one in my Target registry bag. I also recommend After Ease by Wish Garden! It is a tincture that helps with afterbirth pains and bleeding. I only had post-partum bleeding for 2 weeks! To prevent mastitis these supplements help- Sunflower Lethitin by Legendairy Milk and any immune boosting supplement like echinacea.
yes! love after ease! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I'm a mastitis pro now 😬 Phytolacca homeopathic remedy has been the BEST to beat it quickly. I will have to try the mam pacifiers! thank you
Look at once upon a child or kids thrift stores for the sleep sacks I didn’t find the dream ones but found swaddle me brand and halo brand from $2.50 - $5.50
The boppy newborn lounger was a lifesaver. Lay your child safely anywhere in the house. Only place my little one would settle. Hope it works well with you.:)
Babies won't be able to see beige/light colors... Newborns see black and white..then after 1 month, bright Red, yellow, royal blue, is good for their vision..Also breastfeeding is for comfort babies don't know you uncomfortable but they definitely feel more comfortable/warmth when breastfeeding and sleeping in mom's arms. Maybe don't have kids anymore..if you don't have time to give the affection/attention you gave to your first child.
Maybe don’t comment if you don’t have anything nice to say 🤷🏻♀️ of course I’m going to comfort my baby. They don’t need milk for that. Over feeding can be very problematic. Glad you, a man, knows better than me, a mother, how to care for MY kids. Have a great day! Thanks for watching✌🏼💖
