Huge bedrock gold and hoards of gold found in the moss at our ultimate placer deposit!
We will be exploring this area further and hope to eventually find a bedrock gold exposure, massive gold nugget, some record gold or huge gold vein which is producing the nuggets and pickers.
Hope everyone enjoys the video and stay tuned for more!

Excellent recovery from the moss, . Looks like approx half to 3/4 gram on your first pan. Follow the sides of the creek run-off where the most came out of the moss. You'll do very well from that creek by cleaning out the boil hole and all the crevices. As you well know that the coarser the pieces the less it's travelled from the source or host rock. Excellent find, tracing and research of your target areas. A lot of people overlook areas like thick scrub and rainforest creeks, run off's and streams as it too difficult for them to access by vehicle. Lots of people don't want to go hiking, exploring for minerals and gems unless they're taught by the older generation of prospectors with hands on experience. I'm happy I grew up in the rural parts of Australia where there was always minerals and gemstones to hunt as a kid as my dad ( mad keen prospector, rock hound) taught me many things about prospecting and fossicking. Best wishes and continued success with your prospecting, health and family. Cheers from Kalgoorlie western Australia.

What a haul. I'd get a few large tubs and spend every inute of a few days pulling all the moss off, packing the stuff down then I'd pan it out at home...but if there's that much in the moss there's surely a ton more underwater. I'd go looking for the source too.

Check about 500 - 1,000 yards up-stream..and see if you have the same in the (pans)..if, not..come back about half-way..check again..to narrow the source..looks as if your real-close..good luck. merry x-mas & new year..! I too am in Western Washington State (Oak Harbor to be exact). Been prospecting this area for high on 30 years. Like the others...I could add up several years of finds and not equal one of those pans. They are incredible!! Everything I find is flour. I just throw it away now...don’t even bother to bring it home anymore cuz there’s not enough to make a difference. Hey...those of you in my area....if you’re interested in a trip together just message me. My partner had to quit for health reasons and I’m looking for a new one.

I can give you a hot spot which isn't too far from you. It's Day creek, south side of the Skagit river not too far up. A good friend of mine grew up there and said there was an old miner that had a placer tunnel up Day creek and that he had quart jars of nuggets from it.
@SalmonKing52
@SalmonKing52 5 лет назад
ROBERT snyder all of the land on both sides is privately owned. Either by the local or the timber company (and that’s gated). I’ve tried getting in there several times...even from the back side of the ridge. MAYBE on a mt. bike...🤷🏻‍♂️

That moss was astonishing. How did you guys acquire all these claims? Were they abandoned/forfeited, as there was clearly previous mining in the area, or did you purchase them from the previous claimholder?
@911mining
@911mining 5 лет назад
A few have been staked for the past 100 years and they were allowed to lapse. The trouble with BC mining claims is there staked online and you have prospectors with 1000 claims who don't know quite what they have as they have never set foot on them, they just stake because the area has potential. A lot we have found ourselves from exploration. Some are in the area were there's old mines but have never been staked or explored. It's a mix. To date we have only every purchased one tenure, usually we are the ones try to option or sell. Logging also plays a big part one year what you though had nothing exposes 10 new outcrops with mineralization that hadn't been discovered before.

You probably could replace the moss and trap a little extra...providing the water gets that high still so low water levels.
