Patch Notes: Increased footstep prioritization in sound mix playback. Increased enemy sliding audio. Reduced the impact sound when taking damage I know some of you like Activision. However, read the patch notes carefully. Does that issues with footstep audio sound like a problem with the code or with the audio engine tha needs to be fixef? It reads like an executive decision to make the beta artificially more difficult than need be. And, it is only being reverted do to the complaints of that decision. Remember, it was a decision to do this not an issue with the game, the game engine, or the audio engine. Footstep audio prioritization was set to low. Which means that if there was a lot of other audio sounds playing in the map footsteps audio wasn't playing at all. Enemy slide audio was set so low that you only hear opponent slide 2 ft from you. Impact sound was so loud it drowned out everything else. So if you were listening to footsteps audio with the lowest prioritization you heard nothing. Ask yourself why are they doing this? And will they undo the audio improvements once the game is release? IMHO, YES THEY WILL. And they will make you beg them to turn audio back on.
I get that but I think it depends what type of small maps we are talking about. For example shipment and shoot house are two differn't types of small maps and prefer something like a shoot house compared to the chaos of shipment for example.
@@Reoz_14 nope keep the same beta downloaded might have an update just before but should just be a case of it reopening to everyone who already installed and played week 1!
i think id get bored with the maps i remember ghosts with the castle map that was tidy for snipers not to big we should have the option to down load maps that the players want
Omni movement is definitely creative but they're not the right company to implement this. The game is naturally very fast. You have no time to do all that when someone is aiming down sights esp if there are 3 opponents all in sight. Basically it's the new jet packing repackaged. The game is already lagging big time on the West Coast US. If that is beta, the real thing will be MW3 2.0 parkinsons lag on steroids. It is also lagging up MW3 even worse on PS5 as the servers are inundated. Glad I tried it out but no way I am paying for this rubbish. Sony say they're not going to develop their own game but 10 years and they got to.
Might make a video discussing this soon but I do agree that just small maps is just pure brain rot in cod and can't say I am a fan of not having decently sized maps in favour of everything playing like shipment 😬🫠
@@TazXGold I still don't get that. Shipment is symmetrical while Babylon is asymmetrical with a common mid point where a lot of action goes down. However a lot of maps are like this.
I am having issues sometime spotting people because of it should look better in the full game as the graphics do normally change a noticeable amount from betas to full game but we will see
