A Little Life is idd heftig, maar het grootste gedeelte van het boek merkte je dat nog niet. Pas bij een bepaald hoofdstuk op het eind (waarin je eindelijk achter komt wat er met Jude was gebeurd) zit je gewoon keihard te janken. Er zitten ook hele positieve momenten in, voor mij was het niet alleen maar trauma. Ik vond het zo'n mooi boek en geeft je echt veel levenslessen mee

Tip: read the caraval trilogy before the once upon a broken heart trilogy. Jacks is a character in both stories. It’s not necessary to read both to enjoy OUABH but it will give you more backstory/character development for Jacks if you read caraval first 😊

hii, i get them from a few different places! mostly from "vinted" (a thrift app, mostly europe based i think) and "world of books" (WOB), an online secondhand bookshop! It's based in the UK but they ship internationally and often times have great deals :) and also random secondhand (book)shops i walk into ¨̮ , i also hear great things about pangobooks, if you live in the US! i hope this helps xx
