I can’t believe people in this world can be so easily mean. If you don’t like a person, let it go, don’t watch their videos but do not bully them! I don’t understand how some people’s brain function, this is really sad... I am so sorry your family is going through that and I can’t imagine how you must feel... you only convey positive and loving ideas, you are so smily and happy and positive every day and let me tell you you are a sunshine in my life ! Hey Sarah, so as a professional Mua in NY , I totally get where your coming from with not wanting to hurt the persons feelings if you don’t like it, bc everyone has different styles and taste when it comes to beauty..BUT honestly I would just tell her that it was cute but not what u were looking for and see if you can get a retrial where you explain a bit more what you want. Any professional who does this for a living isn’t going to be offended trust me bc we know how this stuff goes. It’s better to be upfront and communicative than to tell a white lie to protect their feelings and then book someone else. I’m sure they’d try and do their best to make sure you really liked it if you were to rebook or explain what you are in fact looking for in detail. Hair and makeup is so personal and only you understand what you feel the best in. Of course do what’s comfortable for you as your wedding day is a huge moment and you want to feel great but just some advice from someone who works in the beauty industry. I’d rather someone tell me the truth if they don’t like it but to each their own. Just trying to help. Also one more thing.. ppl don’t realize how hard it is to book glam bc of these exact reasons. It’s literally the hardest, most important and sometimes most critical part of the wedding. The bride feeling confident and beautiful on their wedding day in my eyes is the most important part. You have to like the person and the style they do and they are with you and your family for hours in a really intimate space and try to best accommodate everyone’s individual beauty needs on the day of which is also why we charge what we charge bc as stressful as it is for u to find the right person and look, it’s as stressful for us to accommodate that request and level of service if that makes sense. So in terms of the cost just try and look at it like your not just paying for “the hairstyle,” your also paying for the service, i know it’s not fun to pay for multiple trials but if someone is kinda particular it’s normal so don’t feel badly.

Yas!! Eye of Horus is such a good makeup brand, I swear by their mascara 🙌🏼 It's not cheap but the quality is fab!

The one product I recommend for people is just mascara haha if you have to pick just one!

I’m the same about blush I’ll either use a tinted chapstick on the go if in a rush but have you ever tried glossier’s liquid blush? It adds to keeping the dewy effect! I have two, I put one on my cheeks and then mix the two to put on my eyes. It keeps me feeling like I’m just making bold my best features!
