Rachel, I agree! That was the MOST people I had ever seen there actually. And I still got the shot by extending my camera boom over to the glass. I'll get a more quieter shot of him later this month if I can now that all the California visitors are back home. If you subscribe I'll be at the zoo alot this year so I'll try to get some intersting 360 footage for ya!

Yeah they don't respect the fact that being quiet around these magnificent animals is what is necessary 💚💛💚💛.

@@racheleastwood5588 i did not even realize that they were trying to show him the videos until later @racheleadtwood5888. He liked it but seemed to know hes not suppose to look at it. Thats how smart i feel he is 😊❤️

Yep that's usually the rules as it can agitate them but I guess some people just don't realise. Keepers down here advise the rules during their talks when they occur.

@@racheleastwood5588 , I agree. Sadly, the parents should tell their kids they should respect the Gorillas because this is their home and they do not like screaming and banging on the glass. When I went to Philly Zoo near me, I was so shocked how the kids were so disrespectful to the Gorillas! Screaming, banging on the glass, beating their chest! I told a few kids to stop because it was obvious the parents didn't care at all. It was sad to me seeing the Gorillas looking stressed because the kids were so crazy and not one adult seemed to care how bad and loud they behaved. I just had to leave there because they were rude, pushing into others near glass. Just unreal. Most places have signs asking people not to knock on glass, scream, etc. Doesn't seem to work . I had one young Boy standing next to me when I was at the Gorilla enclosure and he started banging on the glass and beating his chest! I told him ( kindly ) that he needs to be respectful and he is teasing them by beating his chest and that is not nice to do because this is their home and doing those things make them very sad. He felt bad and stopped immediately and said he was sorry to them ( facing the glass! LOL! ) He was so sweet after that. Made me think if the parents would just tell the kids to respect the Gorillas and all animals when they get inside, maybe the kids would be more sensitive and respectful. They get excited, I understand. But, gotta blame the parents for not educating their kids about respect, compassion and kindness when visiting Zoo Animals in their homes. Gorillas are very sensitive and share our behaviors/feelings. I wish more people showed them the respect and consideration they deserve. Sad.
