I did our coat closet last weekend, I dreaded it for so long! Didn’t take much time, and makes a huge difference every morning leaving the house with three kids. Less stress when everybody can actually find their shoes😊

I dont mind wating at all, you guys are busy parents. The closet came out so great, my home does not have many closets which is ok ive gotten so use to it. Let the boys sleep the floor can wait. We live in a 122 year old farm house and we have exactly ONE closet on the first floor. It's huge and acts as our pantry, our recycling center, our craft storage, AND it's our only storage for shoes & coats/jackets. As you can imagine, it gets super cluttered at times. But- AH!- That feeling when it's freshly swept and organized! We also just put away all our winter gear and it feels so fresh and new. :)

We put shelves from top to bottom in our coat closet. I store my vacumns, dusters, tools light bulbs and 1 shelf is dedicated to Scentzy burners for every season. This freed up space under my kitchen sink and under the bathroom sink. My husband put a plug in to charge my small vacumn and put up trays for all my attachments for my rainbow. You have to rearrange sometimes to fit your families needs. I remember my mom never used that coat closet as a coat closet either. She stored our vacumn there too. It was really a catch all. When you opened the doors and I saw all your shoes I was like oh Lord. I would slam the door back. LOL. But I knew you would have a plan and clean it up in no time at all. I'm sure this will work great for you all.

Great job! I was literally just finishing up my own closet!🫣😵 I like to rotate my closet and pack up my fall/winter clothes in bins, and unpack my spring/summer stuff. I also did some shoe decluttering… or should we say condensing a few shoes into 1 shoe container!😂 I got ALOT of recycling! 🤦🏻‍♀️ but, I’m happy I finally got it done! A few weeks ago I took care of my kids closets and drawers. I feel like they just wear stuff for a few weeks and already things don’t fit them! It’s a constant rotation at my house! And hubby takes care of his own stuff… He’s a bigger neat freak and better at organizing than I am! 😱😂 Isn’t it great to get stuff organized and in its place? I love it. 🥰 Awesome job again!👍🏼🤗

Denise housework can never be done. But I have to say I sure enjoy everything looking nice. Can’t do it all in one day but I can put a large dent in it.lol Cleaned on my home for 6 hrs the other day and I enjoyed every minute,but there’s still more. Love y’all little family and home.

HAPPY SUNDAY! HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND; We just got home from our granddaughter's Birthday! She will turn 7 on Monday but they celebrate on Sunday, she invited her dance troop they are the sapphires in her age group, did I tell you that she won a scholarship to Disney for dancing? She loves dance. I will DM you Denise and give you some info. You bring back memories for me, being the youngest of 10 5 boys 5 girls, how our mom had to go through all of the clothes and shoes...of course I got plenty of hand me downs being the youngest...SHARED TO THE BURGH

I just did mine last week. One thing I’ll suggest is getting those shoe pans for underneath your shoe shelves. They are a game changer for keeping messes contained and it saves the floor! Really looking forward to your prep kitchen, as I’m sure, so are you😂❤️

I use one of those hanging shoe organizers to hold things like scarves, gloves, mufflers, winter hats/touques. If it doesn't fit in it, it goes to donations.

I didn't feel it necessary. I swept and used multi surface spray and a rag to clean the floor. The closet is tiny and I didn't want to get mop water out just for that.

Great job. Why is this one of the worst jobs in the house. It feels so good to have it all neat and tidy but what a pain in the behind. It is so easy to just throw all the crap in and shut the door. Having the winter items out of the closet sure makes a difference in the amount of available space. It looks so neat and clean. Take care until next time.
