@samanthadudley6412 we'll be praying for her and her family. I grew up in a home like that. It was a Christian home, but it was like walking on eggshells at times. I was physically, sexually, and mentally abused by my father from 16 till 23. My mom and brother still think he's the best. He passed away a few years ago and never accepted what he did to me was wrong.

@samanthadudley6412 I will be praying for this situation. Be a support but make sure boundaries protect your home. It is easy to get dragged into other's drama.

I am a cancer survivor 9 years now, praise God and I know the struggle. Just keep fighting and praying and enjoying time with your family! they only care that you’re there. When I think of my happiest memories with people I only remember that they were there with me to talk and laugh not what they wore, or how there hair was styled etc. I had chemo and radiation, went through early menopause and lost all my hair and gained weight. This too shall pass. Keep fighting, and trust in our Heavenly Father. ❤️🙏

Girl, I am so sorry you feel this way. I don’t live going new places or being around people I don’t know. I really want to attend this church I’ve heard of, but it’s so much work to start over. I haven’t had a church family since I moved to Florida two years ago. You go to church my friend. Jesus will welcome you and be so happy you’re there.

The people who love you don't love you because of how you look. Don't worry about it so much, you will attract the right people for you by just being you. Start small and work your way up, a little more time each day in public. You can do it. Don't let the devil win.

I, too, struggle with fear and anxiety. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Agoraphobia. What's greatly helped me is to take my worries, fears and issues to God, knowing that I can trust Him to love me and help me. I then face my fears, relying on Him to give me strength. I do a lot of praying about it, and it really does make a difference. Three years ago I didn't have a church and was too scared to visit any around me because I didn't trust that I'd recognize poor teaching/ theology, plus was nervous about being around strangers. After months of prayer, God led me to attend a Christian women's conference two states away. That brought me in contact with a woman from a church about 30 minutes from my home, who invited me to join her Bible study (I'd poured out my heart to her in an email, so she knew about my fears and struggles). Since then I've been attending her church regularly and making friends through the various bible studies and classes I've participated in. It's a great church, truly committed to living out the Word. Remember, God doesn't want us to be afraid. Lean on Him and ask Him to help you overcome your fears and to bring godly friends into your life. And be sure you correct your self-talk with truth. Our fears and insecurities are a great opportunity for God to demonstrate His love and provision, etc. and strengthen our relationship with Him through it, if we rely on Him and trust His ways. It's not a fast fix but it's worth it.

I miss church and fellowship. We haven't been since mo flu. he church we attended just was so small so we just never went back.

If you don't it probably hurts him deep down because it means you don't really trust him and/or don't value his judgement. You are God's creation girl! Believe it! (I don't mean for this previous statement to sound judge-y, I struggle with this, too, but mine only told me how ugly and disgusting I was. I am still getting over that.)

@@kimberlyp2778 you don’t sound judgy at all. Your words helped me. I asked my husband if he feels like I don’t believe him or value his judgement when I tell him I don’t believe I’m attractive. Just like you said, he said it makes him feel like I don’t trust his judgement or believe him. I’m trying so hard now to feel better about myself. It’s a process that isn’t going to take overnight, but I’m not brushing off his compliments anymore. Thank you for being so kind and setting me straight.

It's sad. But understand it is really hard to find someone to take animals in. Where I live, the shelters and rescues all require you to pay to surrender each animal. If they are even taking any in. I was in a really tough spot trying to find someone to help out with a sick cat. It was the mercy of God that he sent a foundation my way to help out. It was so rough and maddening. It made me understand why people just dump animals. Especially if they're in a tight spot.

It is sad and it’s people who ate irresponsible that is causing this problem. As for asking for a surrender fee. How do u think we operate. I get no grants or govt funding. I rely on donations to keep my doors open. Plus nobody at the rescue including me is paid. I am in bflo New York and my rescue along with every other rescue is jammed pack. Why? Because of people do not spay /neuter and instead of taking and keeping an animal they dump them.i do not have a money tree and I need to pay my bills just like you do. I do not get free rent,utilities or vet care. How anyone can sleep at night knowing they dumped animals is beyond me. There is NO Excuse

In my experience, that is important plus asking for God’s supernatural help to love and be kind to each other in difficult times :)
