Huge Life & Channel Update With Linda's Pantry 

Yes Linda 16 months ago, my 39 yr old daughter, her Old English Sheep Dog, a PitBull, 2 Cats moved in out of a her life change and necessity. Because of all the stuff going on in this world things just aren't very easy. Things have changed here for sure, forever I will have my 45 year old disabled son, and our two cats, now for the past 16 months . . . BIG CHANGES for me and my son. Because of her dogs etc, I gave her the Big Master Bedroom/Bathroom and I took the guest bedroom and share space with my son, our house is kind a cut in half to accommodate and adjust. This is what Moms do . . . .

Where's Shotsy these days, Linda! Haven't seen the fur baby for a while.

It's a blessing to have the space to be able to welcome your daughter and grandson in during their time of need.

What a blessing! Multigenerational living is a blessing for all!

I am sure they'll be company for you. In these times it'll be safer for you to not be alone.

I’m always amazed and inspired by the way you and some of your fans are generously sharing your resources with family. I have my middle aged son with me and some people make comments about a grown man living with mom, but he has his own autonomy and takes care of shopping for me so I’m protected since the pandemic , trying to make sure I’m not compromised physically at my age. I’m blessed to have a son with no vices , and a great sense of humor! My best friend! I just want for his happiness. Pray he finds his special soulmate lady someday.

Let me tell you…Mom’s and Dad’s are wonderful. When I went thru hard time, they were their. If your fortunate enough to have them, pray every day thanking them. Mine saved me too in the past until I could get on my feet. God Bless you for being their for your child. You guys will need each other in the future.

Yes painting furniture would be good.. Interesting to see.. Dehydrate the leek tops and blitz them in the food processor to resemble parsley.. Great for pasta or soups or quiche ..Bases make a great leek powder after dehydrating.. Kindness your way. Lochness Scottish Highlands..

We have had our daughter and children live with us temporarily in the past. Enjoy the moments. Yeah to you making a recipe book! I would love a Linda’s Canning Recipe Book! 😉

Family is for life parenthood doesn't stop when your child is an adult it changes but you're still a parent. This will be a huge blessing for you both. Oh my we’ve had to do this and it has been mostly a blessing, but I won’t say it’s always easy! I do cherish my time with them though as I know I wouldn’t see them a lot otherwise! You know how it is when they move out! Can you share the paint you just used in the bedroom? It’s beautiful! Love your channel!

We semi retired from our careers to move closer to our children and grandchildren. We had a plan, enter covid. We are in Canada. We are now living with our son and his family indefinitely. Not the way we planned to live out our retirement but we are blessed to have family that will be here for us. So we will move forward waiting to see God's plan work out. It's so wonderful to see families there for each other during these times. Bravo and God Bless you and yours.

This is going to be a great blessing for all of you. The times call for creative financial solutions in the past you may of had four generations in your house. The joy and entertainment your grand son will bring will be priceless and you’ll have a dog in the house again. You and your daughter seem to me very capable, smart, goal oriented women. As long as you have your own room and bathroom everything will be fine I've had things happening in my life since 2011 and it has worked out fine. You will. Love the closeness that happens with your grandson.

Our daughter and grandkids lived with us for 5yrs, total…We loved it and made some great memories. Nothing last forever though…they’re all grown and gone…daughter remarried, kids grew up…Make those memories! Enjoy it…💗

Families are the best ! Your daughter and grandson will truly learn from you , and time spent together is a blessing . I had my daughter and her wife plus 2 dogs and their cat for over a year . They built a new home and we loved that they spent that year with us. They saved money and we had so many memories made with them !

Enjoy your time together. It will be a blessing you will look back on with great memories. My daughter, her husband and two children lived with us for three years saving for their house. They moved out last June just before baby 3. While it is nice to have our house back to normal, I miss them And the kids.

When you bought your home I watched in awe as your life was changing so much. I wanted the same for myself but couldn’t see how I could possibly do it. I eventually left the bad relationship I was in and moved out on my own. You inspired me so much during that time. Now I see big changes are happening in your life, just as they’re about to happen in mine again. I haven’t watched much of my canning RU-vid channels but with the world the way it is I’m back. That is awesome that your daughter and grandson are coming to move in with you, sorry for her circumstances will be praying for you all continuing forward like you said. I live with my family because I take care of my family and because everything is so high it makes sense plus we can all be their for each other... It's good to embrace big changes! I can a leek and potato soup starter in chicken broth, heat and immersion blend and add cream and some butter....yum!

I feel like I missed something re: your “leek party”, so not sure what inspired that, but potato leek soup is delicious and would be handy and tasty to have in the pantry. Your life changes will be very exciting and wonderful!
