There is clearly too much going on. Wizards forces so many products on us practically every month with so many reprints. Now we have these Commander cards banned which showed card value and sealed box value loses from 20m to 100m. So now we see stolen Marvel Magic cards. Seems like I should just play Commander with the cards I have and buy some proxies. It's just not worth it to buy sealed boxes and even cards on the secondary market. The +1/+1 counters on wolvie could represent the feral berserker rage he goes into in the comix. it's sort of like dumb hulk. if wolvie reaches this stage, he basically becomes mindless and indiscriminate in his ferocity and does more damage, hence the +1/+1 counters.

Wolverine's "regeneration" is functionally indestructibility, so that is what he should have. Iron Man should have his suit be a separate Legendary Equipment, that also is indestructible; so would have card Tony Stark 1/1 with some special ability deriving from his tech genius, and the armor would give him +5/+5 at minimum, indestructibility, flying and haste. Also, could have Hulkbuster armor as another equipment. Tony Stark would also have the ability that when he enters, you can search your library for the armor.

I told everyone this universes beyond stuff would make the game stupid. Im glad some people are starting to wisen up.

I'm betting if not advertised in the lair, there'll be a secret card that's Cap's Shield. Either a re-skin of something like Darksteel Plate or a wholly new card with a cmc of at least 3.

Ironman without his gear is just dead man. He is literally kept alive by his tech. I forget if it was an electro magnet keeping his heart from being pierced by shrapnel, or if it runs an actual pump in place of his heart, but yeah that device in his chest isn't just a show of power. Actually it is basically his weak point ultimately.

Banning Dockside changes just about nothing about casual commander pods and completely disables like half of the top 16 cedh decks: This was basically aimed at dismantling cedh and they even explicitly say 'We just want to slow down the format'

Captain should make a shield artifact token when he enters, to give him something to start with? Also the shield token would look sick.

Wolverine double all damage would work with fight effects that double strike doesn’t.

Fight Mechanic is going to be insane with Wolverine.

Wolverine has berserker rage. When he goes berserk he's many times stronger and faster. And at times is hard to control. ❤️

Wolverine's berserker rage does make him more primal the longer he fights. Lol, also, he was a vampire for a while.

jreading comments are hard cuz i just got eye surgery so this might have already been stated, but i think the 1/1 counters on wolverine are most likely to represent his "rage" building because he's known to go into a rage state as combat continues

I think this is sick looking. Universes beyond worries me because of all the cringy stuff they could add like my little pony, etc. but there are certain universes like Marvel, Warhammer, LoTR, etc. that fit in very well.

I don't think it's an employee. It's most likely a trespasser or a hired help like a cleaning service or catering. The man was selling them for short term gain, it means he's un aware of what they are or the price point of secret lair.

Aite, bouta get flack, but... 1) Black Panther should be BLACK as well? Kinda obvious...give him Vigilance & make his "Mine Vibranium" ability require tapping him. 2) Iron Man's ability should be called "Activate Jarvis" as doing so did technically "Sacrifice Jarvis" by turning him into Vision, which is searching for an Artifact. Also, the curvature in the "Magic" around him could be a more detailed visual expression of how the Arc Reactor channels energy into his suit. 3) Absolutely LOVE Wolverine's title, however I feel as though it should be when he TAKES damage that he gets the +1 Counter, especially considering the Regeneration factor, as it doesn't Prevent Damage, but heals it. Beyond that, dealing Double-Damage is a better look than Double-Strike, as he often attacks with both claws at once (much like an "X") as opposed to swinging one fist at a time. Last, but not least, Regenerating is so easy for Logan, the Mana Cost for his Regeneration could be Phyrexian for the same color cost, consindering the amount of pain it might actually cause him to heal through all those wounds... 4) Captain America seems a little OP considering Mana Cost, specifically the 2nd Ability, "Catch" where it makes more sense to give him Reach for 1 Generic. Not To Buzz-Kill, Hilarious Outtake!!

Regenerate always makes me think of Will O'the Wisp. 0/1 flyer with 1 black regenerate- annoyed the f*ck out of the Serra Angels back in the day. Lol!

What are pinkertons and why do people keep talking about them?

Na I think wolverines ability makes sense because he holds off a bit as he actually has a conscience, but when he starts being dealt a ton of damage and in a very long fight he loses himself to the blood lust and just goes all out. Not even in control at that point he just becomes a monster.

I'm a huge fan of paragon heroes like Captain America and Superman. I like the characters who have more difficulty enforcing their morals than struggling with their own morals.

Interesting they make you pay for Wolverine's Regeneration. To make him work more like the comics, I would have suggested a Knight of the Holy Nimbus style effect where he regenerates UNLESS your opponents pay to keep him down. Although given it's Wolverine the cost should be way higher than 2.

The flavor is nice as a marvel fan these would be awesome to collect, as a player i probably wouldnt play the main characters. I like what they are doing as far as card creation. The Marvel stuff seems fake to me. That Black Panther's text box was green and white, despite him being a Simic card. Plus a clear MCU focus with Iron Man, Cap, and BP, but then Wolverine who only barely got in? As opposed to a "villain" card, or Spider-Man or something?
