We've exited the Cold Open and Goofy Character Arcs. We're now at the point in the story where everybody in lore starts to die and the theme Decks get even stronger.
@@tsynthetic A lot of these can definitely work in chimera. Especially the green boy and big lady who pops 2. The diabell engine with the omni negate is also really good to force people to use hand traps before your combos even more
The new Goblin Bikers card being able to Summon any Goblin from Deck, not only bikers is kinda interesting, tho the only really interesting application I can think of are Mementotlan Goblin and Goblin Zombie. This last one can be interesting for Zombies since the Quick-Play can Tribute any monster and could be use to dodge Imperm in Uni-Zombie or Gozuki. If you Tribute Gozuki you even get to Summon a Zombie from hand by banishing any Zombie you sent to GY with Gozuki, and there are a good amount of them that get to Summon themselves this way, Changshi and Shinobi Necro in particular
As for Sol. His name is based off a young boy named “Sol Feinstone” who arrived in Ellis Island, New York. He refused to go to school but later in life he would attend college and become well educated. A school is then founded under his name. So the name in the YGO card mixes his name with the place he arrived while on a ship. Ellis Island+Sol Feinstone=Sol Elysictone
1:01 People have often misunderstood what "Monsters" and "Monster cards" are. The text here specifically lists "Monster Card". That means, that the trap IS STILL USABLE if a *"Diabellstar" Monster is face-up and treated as a continuous spell* (by Snake-Eye Flamberge Dragon's Effect, Divine Temple, Dramatic Snake-Eye Chase, Sinful Spoils of Subversion, or even the trap "Startling Stare of the Snake-Eyes") Why? Because even though it's not a "Monster" and instead is a "Continuous Spell", IT IS STILL A *"MONSTER CARD"* To give another example, PENDULUM MONSTERS ARE CONSIDERED "MONSTER CARDS" EVEN IF YOU HAVE THEM FACE-UP ON YOUR PENDULUM ZONES"
White Woods is going to be a tier 1 deck now because Azamina just got rid of their Nibiru problem and with Phantom of Yubel they can negate Droll in the same turn. Cartesia and Muddy Muddragon never felt better. Now that we can use Woes to special summon Witch Wolf more often and its not once per turn. If you use the Fiendsmith package you can easily make Beatrice and Caesar in the same turn and with Rhea Silvera we now have access to the Crimson Dragon. Whispers of the Sinful Spoils is a mandatory 1 of now because of its grave effect and how searchable Azamin makes both it and Sinful Spoils Deception. The reason why Whispers grave effect matters is because its searchability. Imagine how much extra space you'll have for other cards when you don't have to make over half your deck spell/traps. A more pure White Woods deck will finally have their time as a tier 1 strategy. The Fiendsmith has strong synergy with White Woods because you can send Requiem and/or Sequentia to grave for your effects. All of this will get rid of any inconvenience the toy box engine can cause or be a useful addition to it.
Azamina being a Sinful Spoil Fusion deck was NOT on my bingo card but DAMN it looks so good. Kinda upset they don’t appear splashable with White Woods since primary fusion material is the Spoils, since having a decent synchro/fusion deck would’ve been sick asf (sorry to any Earthbound enjoyers)
Azamina Sol Erysichthon is easy to make in Memento, just do your usual setup with Combined Conqueror plus Ghattic, pop them in any of your 20 ways during your opponents turn and then use the fusion to make the level 6 to get a low-investment disruption in case you can't afford to make Guardian Chimera (or don't want to be Ash'd on it).
The second effect of Grand Crisis can happen during the opponent's turn. If the deck banished their guys, the opponent would be forced to deal with it, because they cant win by battle if that effect resolves even with the best of Tenpais.
1:22 This card goes hard in White woods as it is a good way to integrate Diabellstar in the strategy. You leave the Synchro Diabellstar on the field regardless and then this card doubles as interruption (especially against XYZs) and as battle protection as well. So in the end you need 3 cards to deal with just one card that enables all of this. So this card is fine. Forget the last part its just a beat down effect… in this case the card loses a lot of value 3:08 I don’t remember my goblin cards as well as I like but lvl 6 fiend screams Beatrice and Caesar access so long they don’t lock you into Goblin this seems strong. 5:41 This card is very strong already as you can get the new lvl 6 guy. Basically you get nibed play this card tribute Token and play further. Also the secondary effect is a good battle protection trick afterwards. 8:25 This reads like a continuous better version of IDP already. And with the second effect you get a worse in archetype Return from the different dimension. This seems like a new powerful end board piece especially in the grind game. 10:21 oh no… no no no no! NOOOO! Okay keep it cool. Its just a super poly target that also functions as interruption so it is a 2 for 3 while also being an Otk enabler and a way to bridge into the other sinful archetypes. 11:14 Okay f*ck it Im gonna scream again. Super poly target that bridges into any Sinful spoil archetype while both of them are lvl 6s? Beatrice and Caesar are still legal wtf are you guys smoking? 13:03 This is the first card that is actually terrible and it is still a super poly target that trades 2 for 3 while constantly recycling cards. The fact that this is an illusion actually matters the most. 14:34 The mirror will absolutely go nutz with this card. Firstly this is yet another super poly target and it is a semi DPE. Summon a Azamina monster of your choice recycle a sinful spoil activate Moa pop 2 to get the second search effect of your Azamina card. 15:50 okay 3 cards in ED seems like a must for every sinful spoil deck now. Or even just two (lvl 8 and sinful spoil searcher). 18:28 all you need in the main deck are 5 cards (3 super poly, 1 of each fusion spell). Infinite grind game! 19:18 okay now add 2 Traps and you have an engine 20:29 okay this is like the new card you set with Diabell. So add 3 Diabell and 1 Continuous and you have it. 3-5 ED slots (depending on if you play Mud and Garura) and 8-11 main deck slots (if you want to play super poly). Then you add your other Sinful engine like white woods with Subversion as well and Wanted and you have still slots left to fill (I guess with Runick). Then you blind second bulldoze your way through everything.
22:47 ya can also do the same thing with Sacred Azamina by activating it while ya have Deception then chaining WANTED to it so that when the chain resolves, ya can send WANTED
Please make vanquish soul good Konami look at what you did with fiendsmith yubel and snake eyes all having 1 card combos that bridge into eachother and make ftk boards, why do the control decks get so many restrictions like their main interruption, the snow devil trap, being a 4 card combo to resolve.
I was kinda hoping Azamina would be for Diabellze like what Snake eyes is for Diabellstar. It's CLOSE to that since it sets up Diabellze's special summon so I'm hopeful they could add a couple more cards to bridge that gap, like a Diabellze searcher or Snake-eye Diabellstar equivalent.
Diabellstar is similar to the Visas lore cards, Snyke Eyes is for link monsters, Goblin Biker for XYZ, White Woods for synchro and Azamina for fusion. The difference to Visas archetypes is that the Diabellstar archetypes have a lot of synergies with Branded. White Woods especially good with Bystial Runick. Goblin Bikers could be cool with Springans because Sargas works with their detachment and attachments.
Snake Eyes use Link Monsters, but they don't actually have any Links of their own. Seeing as one of the Fusions call for a Level 6 Fiend, I think Fiendsmith might be the Link archetype. But that's weird too since Fiendsmiths also use Fusions.
goblin biker cards are pretty solid. The continuous spell can make one the level of another, so the new guy is full combo. Not sure if it gets tour guide cut though, the continuous does provide an extra normal for goblin bikers, so I could see both being played.
I doubt you’d cut Tour Guide, she’s too valuable for the deck, and this guy can be gotten off of the new Quick play spell which is searchable off of Dug Charger, it seems like he’s a 2 of that you play alongside Tour guide
@@JustNutzProd it al depends on the definition of “Full combo” here, the end board kinda varies but the minimum is generally Big Gabonga and Dark Knight Lancer, from the sounds of it, New 6 and a way to detach is full combo Normal New 6, effect special Dug, Dug grab Grand Bash, Grand Bash target Dug and New 6 to make them both 3s, then make Big Gabonga, search Clatter Sploder, then find a way to detach Dug from Big Gabonga, Extra Normal summon Sploder, effect special back Dug, go into the Armoured XYZ line But the problem is that this combo isn’t efficient, it wastes your Dug search on Grand Bash and uses up your Grand Bash activation to make the new 6 into a 3, this is why Normal Summon Tour Guide is generally better, that facilitates the full combo on its own since it gets a Goblin into rotation with 2 level 3 bodies on field
@@JustNutzProdisn’t it just Bad ass gets Dugg which gets the cont spell which lets them xyz to rank 3,6 or even 9. Assuming you went with 3 get out the rank 3 goblin monster which searchers a goblin card on summon then you go from there pretty much. I could be wrong but that seems like the basic line of 1 card
Now diabellstar=omni-negate+search SE Ash into hand... If not opened diabellstar, Wanted could be searched with azamina fusion instead. OCG hit on Wanted&SE Ash is kinda pointless, Konami just keeps giving SE more starters and extenders. We will see Azamina Fiendsmith SE soon. One card combo spam is frustrating.
There's only one goblin biker that is a fiend. So the rest are beasts and warriors. So yeah I'd run the level six at 3. Also the spell card that modulates levels copies one or the other, or it adds them up. You can get some funky plays with aggregator.
i think the azamina Fusion spell sends sinful spoils on resolution so you can use it chain link one and then chain a quickplay or trap and then send the quickplay on resolution since there is no colon or semi-colon
There’s also the possibility we see another archetype combo with Azamina, which have their own innate fusion spells, rather than a Sinful Spoils package. First one that came to mind is Magistus, since their fusion spell only requires one Spellcaster as a material. Also OMG that quickplay fusion is gonna be busted, since you can chain it to your other Sinful Spoil card and send it to fusion summon while it is still resolving…
I think i will play the diabellstar/sinful spoils deck without snake-eyes. Withthe new azamina cards as the extra deck cards. It has an interesting playstyle revolving around diabellstar, maybe diabellze, and all the different sinful spoils with negate, book of moon, the new card shuffle, place in s/t zone and a board wipe for monsters below 2500 ATK.
Because these ultimately are meant to splash with all the decks in a way. The knight seems to be for goblin, rciela/silvera is white woods, and moa is for diabellze. Either way diabellstar/wanted just got a huge generic buff as an engine for anyone to have an anti nib / handtrap card that also becomes interruption on your opp turn too
Nothing really worth complaining about yet. The only reason you are splashing this is for the omni negate. It will probably get more powerful with new support but it is not like you can easily make these cards without the spells. If we get some crazy main deck monster then there may be a problem.
i'm excited but also damn something within all this is gonna get banned clearly fiends are eating too hard lately. whether they ban something from this set, something from yubel, or fiend smith. i'm sure ppl won't be too mad something from fiend smith gets banned honestly also this gives a big hope that we are getting support for evil heros in a set that was recently name dropped I forgot what it was called something like supreme. with all the fiend support going on it does seem like it, ontop of yubel
i've been waiting for a generic card that can tribute cards on your turn in the hand that's not drytron so that you can tribute benten and search for vanity's ruler 👿
This is very interesting archetype and I believe they deal with lore like the first two fusions deal with white woods and the other two I think deal with the goblin biker lore I think but curious how players will come up
The only fusion we dont really know is the knight but we see him with goblins so maybe eventually they'll get a sinful spoil card to explain his existence. As it is silvera and rciela are diabellstar's spoils and moa regina is a corrupted/clone/whatever of diabellze spoil morrian
I think each of the Azamina monsters relate to one of the “Sinful Spoils of” cards. Rhea Silvera is Betrayal-Silvera (which is a trap), Mu Rcielago is Doom-Rciela (a spell), which leaves Sol Erysichthon as Subversion-Snake Eye, and the boss, Moa Regina, as Slumber-Morrigan. So the illusion manifestations of each treasure!
Also, googling the name “Erysichthon” led me to an article about a Greek mythical king of that name, who was cursed by Demeter for cutting down a sacred Poplar tree (or an Oak in some versions)! So perhaps this vision is of a dead Poplar, like how the others look like undead versions of Rciel and Silva from the White Woods cards.
@@alchemistarcher02 I been looking into it and these Azamia cards seem like they'll work best with Chimera or White Woods, especially considering just how much of a big deal White Woods made about illusion monsters only for them to have just one in the form of Diabelle I also realized you can now have a real reason for running Diabelleze since she's an illusion and her effect says "If you have a sinful spoils card in either gy you can special summon it" not to mention White Woods entire thing is sending cards for cost which these new sinful spoils cards want to do anyways
@@zeothesnowwolf2937 The s/t have gy effects, but the fact that they need azamina monsters to really do anything makes them seem a bit clunky. Granted, they are good as follow up, but the WW s/t recur themselves just by being sent.
We’re missing the light-attribute goblin biker monster. I’m honestly hoping they get a real goblin boss monster. The extra deck ones we have now aren’t that great.
@@JakeLikesJokingstill the narwhal esc thing will be good and the deck has a better time playing pure and don’t have to soley rely on the armoured xyz cards their just a bonus
@@JakeLikesJokingGabonga is Light Attribute! But I agree, we deserve another good XYZ. Troika Griare could have been good if they just gave it more, like a flip face-down effect instead of just changing a monster’s battle position.
So goblin cards are good. Trap maybe meh. Azamina deck I. Theory sounds good but probably not there until 2nd wave. They need something similar to runick fountain or something that boosts the ED monsters in some way. I'm sure your still giving up 2 cards for the lvl 6 which is fine. It's only 1st wave so I wouldn't want this deck to be broken right off the bat.
bad ass goblins are good. anyone telling you otherwise can't get over the fact it's a high level that can't special itself it's a tour guide. end of story. normal summon it to special from the deck. or special summon it some other way to again special something from deck. it's good
I think where I land on it is that it’s good, but could’ve been great if it was lvl 3. Just would’ve made lines with it so smoooooooth, still definitely worth playing tho
You can make an argument for splashing it in White Woods considering how White Woods makes a big deal out of illusion monsters. But we'll really have to wait and see if they get any main deck monsters because if they get illusion main decks then this is definitely getting put together with White Woods
Yes you would. It’s basically the adventure engine on crack that’s searchable in-archetype. Diabellestar plus ash now gets a chance to play through every handtrap. If fiendsmith gets hit, this would likely replace it. If it doesn’t get hit, you consider playing both because it will literally be immune to almost every handtrap in the game
With diabellstar you can actually get the omni-negate PLUS full SE combo. The Azamina normal spell is not once per turn, you just make the other fusion to search OSS, and then the normal spell recycle itself, send OSS to make omni-negate. Now you can OSS shuffle diabellstar to search SE Ash. Free omni in existing combo.
azamina looks siiiiiiiiick!! Not sure if what it currently has is enough, but it might be. Also there's some potential for some chimera overlap probably since half the fusions are makable with chimera. Definitely gonna be a cool deck, I hope. I'm not seeing any disgusting 1-card combos so that's definitely a good start.
Desperately need a Pokemon Generations like anime for the Goblin Bikers/Diabellstar/Sinful Spoils story. At least we can piece together the Branded story, but far too many holes and unanswered questions for the Goblin Bikers/Diabellstar rivalry.
Please ban Flamberge and keep Wanted at three, Please ban Flamberge and keep Wanted at three, Please ban Flamberge and keep Wanted at three, Please ban Flamberge and keep Wanted at three…
@@mozzarellamaniac6300 Honestly I want to call snake eyes = bystial But that's not quite what they are Removal+card advantage but snake eyes does more and is more complete so not best fit. The new cards Fusion are definitely Despia tho.
