Framing is done! Setting the posts for the shop, setting trusses, and tying in the girts, purlins, and everything else to complete the framing of this shop plus pouring the concrete foundation! Exciting times ahead, the shop is getting so close to being done!

Which state are you in and what did it cost to get it build?

No gravel and vapor barrier under the slab is hack

Has road mix under the slab that was compacted. But yeah no vapor barrier. Certain things I’d definitely change if I knew better when they were building it but also, not sure if absolutely required in a semi arid climate. Guess if there are issues down the road I’ll have to deal with it then

Yea I mean it is cheaper like this I suppose. I would at least do a vapor barrier though myself. Just because of moisture and mold in the building. On the other hand you did say it is arid where you are.

Um, I'm really late to the party/project here..... but I've got to ask..... Did you get some remesh put in before the pour? Sure hope so. If I missed it, great!

I thought the same thing and even called some local builders besides my builder. Rebar is not required here and they used fiber reinforced concrete instead.
