It is a step in the right direction BUT Essences drop in such quantity that they will soon overlaod your bank storage. They really should be treated as a currency. The rest of the changes are a real hrlp.😊

you're right I wrote relics but thought "essenses" @@otbricki my bad. In fact I wish some boons stop being part of the trait line and start being part of gear or something added to gear... just a mad man's wish :)

FFXIV is a sub based game If i recall correctly, Am not saying ANet is a victim here, but they gotta monetize somehow, don't they

Exactly you cant blame them for doing. They gotta have income streams aswell. Also you can easily get the gems from playing ingame.

@@ImRollinRich People like you are responsible for the decline in the game industry, the ridiculous double and triple dipping of charges that developers try to get away because, not only do you stupidly agree to pay for less and less, but you sit here spewing bullsh!t in total ignorance as you try and justify it.

@@xGuiders Firstly in FFXIV you have to pay the sub and then you have to pay a retainer sub(bank slots) over the top of it, just to have any meaningful storage for the overwhelming amount of items that they come up with every expansion. Same thing with GW2, there are always new items, to fit in bag slots, but the default bag space never gets increased to the point where 3? expansions later you are FORCED to pay for storage space to do anything. Inventory management has become the #1 issue in MMO's and also the main cause I cancel and stop playing games. I stopped playing FFXIV for this same reason. No they don't need more money for these things, they are looking for excuses to charge.. I suggest you look at the revenue streams, what you will find is that the prices are ridiculous, if you are being honest. But the problem as ussuall is that I am trying to debate a pixel addict away from their pixels and it never goes well. fanboys and game addicts always sticking up for the criminal charges of greedy developers. Bank slots - charged, dye colors - charged, mount skins - charged, outfits -charged, expansion cost - charged, character customizations, name changes - charged. It would be far cheaper to pay a monthly sub that gives me most of these things and Arenanet know it. Whales crying about their pixel addiction ... When you get a bit older and you witness just how the game industry has slid off into the areas of extortion you will wake up then and you will be saying all the things I am saying now, remember that it's just a matter of time. I can come back to you in 5 years or 10 years and your tune will have changed , I know this because me and all my friends used to play these MMO's 10+ years ago (some of them) and this is exactly what has happened, and now all my friends have the same opinion and have stopped playing these games. Almost all of them.

wait what do you have to pay for? lol extra storage should be a long term goal, save your gold. same with extra character slots.
