Always such refreshing views! I’m definitely guilty of most. I think one of my biggest problems now is consuming so much information but then not acting on it or at least just try. Another ond would be comparing myself with other businesses, so much it makes me question myself and my brand. Looking forward to your new content Ishani, can’t wait for the 2 videos per week 👌🏻😊

Marketing has been hard for me. I really hate posting and I hate creating reels. Im going to get there though. I also love your labels!!! Can you share that information? Would you recommend having them done professionally?

Aww I know reels can be time consuming! My strategy actually doesn’t rely on reels normal feed posts are fine 😊. Thank you so much! Sure! I did get them done professionally, a lot of the effects I wanted to do like foiling and textured paper would be too time consuming for me to do. Also for the number of candles I end up selling, it’s such a relief to have it all ready to go. So I would go professional if you can, but if your design is uncomplicated go for doing it yourself until you build up on sales. Phew! Hope that helps 🥰

Hey Silvia! Aww no worries! For me I would say both, a course shows you exactly what to do (visual tutorials, showing you step by step everything you need to do). A book reinforces the knowledge or may highlight a new concept but does not show you how to do it. For candle making I prefer fragrance oils as they are made for candles whereas essential oils can be more tempramental. I've never tried blending them together, I didn't know it's possible.xx

Aww I’m sorry to hear that, would you say you have a hyper defined niche yet that has been validated against market research? That’s usually one of the biggest issues people find. It does take consistent action and a lot of patience. Another thing to note is that RU-vid videos, whilst are great at highlighting problems it does not give you the actual step by step actions you need to take, it’s why I ended up investing in furthering my marketing education. @@IshaniParbhoo I feel like maybe my niche isn’t exactly targeted but also that I don’t really know how to go about it. I have only recently started and am trying to do simple candles and introduce zodiac/crystal collections with a clean/white pattern. I fear there are too many other successful bigger business with these same products and Im having trouble differing myself

@@breannaj8060 Ok, so an area to work is being a lot more targeted. Lots of people get scared to be targeted because they fear other people will not buy from them but it's not the case. Please don't worry about the bigger brands, they started off small too. There is space for everyone. So work on being very targeted and work on understanding who it is your customer is. Many people just post content but don't actual know who their content is for. It's why I'm so passionate about marketing, because these fundamental pieces are not being done because people don't know how to put a strategy together. It's why I've created a course that includes everything you need to know about marketing your handmade business. When I started I bought 3-4 courses to help me, so it's my ambition to not have other people do that and I'm putting everything you need in one place. Ha sorry for the essay! But hopefully it helps.xx

Hey! Great question, I actually did it myself. I think you can find people to do it affordably however, I don’t have any recommendations unfortunately. I will be covering how I optimised my site in the course though if you choose to diy it!
