In large herds of hundreds identifying a single cow is a monumental task especially when you remember that cow are prey animals who are very adept at hiding injury till it's incredibly bad since a sign of weakness makes an easy target.

Hopefully the cows realize that you are helping there pain get releaved. It is crazy how one thing leads to another change in the the hoof, that changes it to necrotic. Glad you could get her on the way to better walking.

Chill time after the kids have gone to school-coffee and tec tv. The music, your lovely accents and the tranquility from watching you trim is just right for me. Knowing you’re helping the lovely animals that provide the milk for my coffee is really satisfying ☺️

I also wanted to say that I love it when you test the pain with the large hoof trimmers. Can anyone be a hoof trimmer? Or do you have to have someone in your family doing it? Passing down the talent…Do you know any women that are hoof trimmers? I don’t know if anyone else gets excited to see Tom fix a painful hoof. It’s awesome seeing a hurt cow get comfort. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Bula Guys, all the way from Fiji. Just seeing the impact you make to the comfort of those cows is more than just satisfying. We have no such thing here but I have witnessed the pain in the cows/cattle of my own neighbors and I wish they would have some training of some sort in hoof trimming and care of their own cattle.
