I don't understand why you didn't immediately put a truck stop in Mildurra beside the train station, so that it can pick up the machines (and food) and drops that cargo off, instead of just hoping that the city grows. Even with a single truck, it would have made the machines train line start earning money, making Mildurra grow, and thus have even more of a knock-on effect on other lines by increasing demand.
Seniac needs more switches. If there is a train in any of his bypass stations, no train can pass through. Two way signals just before the platforms would help a lot.
hi, if you want to get food to the town from the train station, get cargo truck stop that touches the cargo station, set up a cargo drop point, draw a line from the cargo truck stop to to cargo deliver point, then you add a vehicals depo, then you add the desired number of cargo vehicals that you need, that goes for any type of cargo that doesn't touch a town
You could make a vehicle distribution center in mildura, just place a vehicle pickup next to the train station, and all the stuff delivered to the station will end up at the pickup, just place one drop off point in the center of mildura and create a route, i do this all the time when the station can't reach the houses
Me: 'i am really looking forward to this episode of transport fever 2' Seniac: 'Heeeey guys, my name is Seniac an welcome back to another episode of our transport 2 fever series' english please
New idea for your station with bypass lanes: platform-track-track-platform. Then the bypass lanes track track only at the outer edge of the station. The one you use is old now and used a lot. Something fresh and new. May help you with mildura as station moves more towards the city
You dont need such gentle curves on those cargo routes...max cargo train speed in TF2 is 99mph. Bit of criticism...as for someone who plays this game and makes videos about it for years, quite often You make an impression like it's the first time You ever play it. Sometimes slowing down just a bit and paying attention would make things much better. But at least we all have a laugh from all those mistakes ;)
Please build an airport and do some passenger routes. And to slow down the date click on it and put it a 1/4, i think it will make the series more realistic and entertaining.
have you not found the doubble slip junction thing for train lines yet if you click on a set of points you can have 1 track go across three lines and have it have points to each line that work properly as in irl
so did anyone time how long it took seniac to figure out he needed a different train car to carry food? gondolas cant carry food.... i wish this was a stream hahahahaha
15:40 if you make the track for the outer platform longer and place another criss-cross (and a signal) before the platform, a train can wait to get into the platform on the side track and not occupy the mainline
I mean he hasn't changed how he's designed stations in the past 3 series, and it's clear where the flaws are as well (everything merging into 2 tracks for a crossover)!
A thought:- put an airport close to Melbourne and fly to Perth and return for passengers ,could also do Sydney and Brisbane too. Would mean setting up bus lines but it's all part of the fun. Just another thought := you could then fly the fuel into Melbourne and distribute to cities that require it.
I just now processed that you have the game set to imperial, I was so confused why all the speeds were so "low". Also why aren't you using trucks for the final delivery of cargo? Btw, your tool factory is right next to a town demanding machinery, your tool train could stop at the machine factory and take some machines with it on its way to the tool factory.
50:22 Why not just deliver crude to both refineries and have both of those deliver to the fuel? After all, all the cities on the coast you are delivering to will max the demand on the fuel refinery. 51:24 USING OLD TANKER TRAILERS?!?!? 56:58 Machines ARE connected to Mildura. There’s one building JUUUUST above the steel plant on the left side of the town.
