*HUGE* Who is Mrs Flood?! | Season Two Teaser | Doctor Who Theory EXPLAINED 

She's probably the White Guardian. The All-White outfit at the end - and the suitcase having a reference to The Pirate Planet - part of the Key to Time arc of Season 16.

Perhaps Mrs Flood is the god of stories, as we see her in the final scene in more of a narrative role. Although she does remind me of a more fluffy Mary Poppins in that getup.

It’s easy to answer this question. Mrs Flood will be identified in series 2 of the new doctor who as the 5th member of East17 and they will crack out a belting version of ‘Stay another day’. The whole group will be sporting the iconic white outfits they wore during the video!

She’s either The Rani, Iris Wildthyme or the meddling monk. I’m still going with the Rani for certain reasons.

I Can see her being one of the guardians. her line before she was dusted is very telling, "Oh.and I had such plans". She could also be the master her delivery of "the fabulous time and space traveller known only as the doctor" was very, very missy...

She dressed as Clara, then as Romana I - its the Master trolling the Doctor.

She is wearing an outfit that is virtually identical to the one that Romana was wearing when she met The Doctor, and the handle of the umbrella she is carrying is (I believe) the Time Tracer from The Keys to Time arc. She is Romana.

In re-watching The Church on Ruby Road, Mrs. Flood gave the appearance of being surprised at seeing a police box sitting on the footpath outside her home, and later, surprised again when the Tardis "took off", as she dropped her shopping when it disappeared. If Mrs. Flood knows who the doctor is and as she stated at the end, "haven't you seen a Tardis", all that seemed out of character.

Mrs. Flood calls him “That clever boy”. Obviously it’s Clara Oswald.

At the end of Giggle it showed a woman's hand with red nails pick up the gold tooth Ididnt the toymaker say it was something to do with the master what if it was Mrs flood who picked the tooth up and she's the master out of the theory's that's been mentioned no one has mentioned the master has anyone else thought of this

My theory is a many generated meddling monk, another "renegade" time lord! 🤔

Mrs. Flood name is a misdirected just like susan triad

I think the costuming all season has been a red herring. Yes, she wore a snowcape like Ramona's in the finale. But, she was also dressed like Clara in the previous episode. I still think she IS Susan, but she is also a New God. I think she can break the fourth wall, because she has become The God of Stories. Perhaps connected to Sutekh "spreading" a little piece of her across the fabric of the Universe every time the Tardis landed somewhere. That, and The Doctor "salting" the edge of the Universe triggered something.

My guess is Hecuba. Queen of Time

Not sure who she is but when she was brought back to life she called the Doctor a clever boy. Wonder if that means something.

She is not the Rani, Romana or somebody we have seen before. RTD is playing with fans

She's probably the cat's mother, another storyline leading to nothing...

But beyond Susan I have a suggestion... what if Mrs Flood is... RTD? She acts like she knows it's a TV show, she consistently talks about things as if she is telling a story... what if she represents our world entering the world of the TV show (Think Grant Morrisons run on Animal Man). Not sure how to work in the change in form because I know RTD is gay but not Trans so that is kinda weak, I admit, but that could be explained away by hand waving to the twists of entering new dimensions like that.

After that last Episode, Do we Even Care?

She's Romanna, convince me otherwise.

My money’s on the White Guardian because we know she’s gonna be in Series 15 and I think she’ll be a hinderence or antihero as opposed to a fully fledged villain. But now that the Gods are running rampant it makes sense they’d show up again.

I think if the trickster comes back it will be in a doctor lite episode similar to Turn Left or 73 Yards.

Actually, she’s an amalgamation of the Fendahl and the Mandragora Helix. Both got stranded in the TARDIS’s secret hookah lounge during a VNA. They congealed into her homunculus form during the EDAs. Mrs. Flood recently escaped and fled to earth in a deleted scene from “The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos”. She was once friends with Tectuen on MySpace. And yes, Captain Jack has hit that. But more importantly, who is her husband, Mr. Flood?

my bet is that she's the rani in a new incarnation and using a tweaked chameleon arch, allowing her to fool the doctor yet retaining her timelord memories, cause have this in mind... the doctor has not interacted with her, i dont remember if they talked in the christmas episode but the doctor has not directly talked to her, he has not even mentioned her... what if she's using some perception filter to fool just the doctor?

whatever mrs flood actually is ,maybe her plans are like the reverse flash in season 1 of the flash,an arrowverse show or maybe she is just watching like a watcher for the doctor and she is a Susan regenerated or bigenerated?

Cool, but I fear there is no point theorising anymore after that Ruby revelation. I do not want us to be collectively underwhelmed once again!

She could be Romana. And that is only because the Coat she wears is similar to the coat that Romana wears in the season sixteen story The Ribos Operation; which not only introduced the Guardians but also sent the Doctor on a quest for the Key to Time.

Whoever she is, she has to be someone who hasn't encountered the Doctor before, otherwise she would've recognised the TARDIS. So not Susan or Romana or Clara or any prior companion. Probably not another Time Lord or (again) she would've recognised what the police box actually was.

The most obvious one to me would be the long awaited return of the rani. She could also be the one who picked up the masters gold tooth. She has teamed up with him before.

I hope she is Rani or Rassillon etc... the Master thing have done sooo many times :) By the way, theres Two Tardises now, so is Sutekh gone? ;) And the Rubys "mom" doesent reveal her face....Loved the new season! :)

Judging from Ruby’s ordinary mom. She’s just another ordinary character who links between the two seasons. No more, no less.

She must be a time lord - seems unlikely that a God would perish to sand... For the moment only Gods and the Doctor has broken the fourth wall. Harbingers so far not. With her being a Timelord she can already have seen this timestream and therefor seem clairevoyant. She gives me Evil Mary Poppins vibes for the moment : )

Well, we have had Susan's name dropped three times, at last, in this season. Is Mrs Flood Susan? I don't know. But if I had to make a guess I'd say that Susan is gonna become a major part of the overarching story for Gatwa's time on the show.

But more importantly, who cares?

Knowing now what Russell is doing, I think anything we might have noticed is probably another red herring, put there on purpose like all the Ruby Sunday stuff... I spent so long thinking about all the mysteries this season, and with one sentence he's made me feel like a fool. It's like when someone points behind you, then laughs at you when you look... I've really enjoyed the whole season, but after being encouraged the whole time to look for all the clues, only to be told it's our fault for putting importance on it, I feel kinda gaslit and it's tarnished things a bit😢

Shes the master of the land of fiction, telling us a story!

When the Season 2 finale comes around, and Mrs. Flood turns out to be nobody important, I'll laugh hard at you.

RTD sees himself as The Trickster. He likely doesn't want any character taking his own place. I sooooo hope Miss Flood is Missy, but it's probably wishful thinking

Has the Doctor in this series seen Mrs Flood? If the Doctor has seen her then surely he’d recognise if she was the Rani or Romana.
