Sometimes it’s best to walk away and seek support from family and friends than risking getting a public audience to watch you self destruct and feeding the fire that consumes you even more. I totally agree though in a perfect world being given the proper chance to process everything would be ideal. In my case I asked for time to talk about it and she said “Noooooo” like I was some creep. I decided then it was best not to press it because it could be used against me.
