Dude the combos the Team would come up with BLOW MY MIND to even think about. They all have unique play styles and seeing that come out in a “commander-esque” game/format would be a dream come true!

It’s the ladder no other deck (except for snake-eye) using either of those were good enough to warrant a ban.

Also that games drop rates are absolutely savagely low, took me like 850 duels before I got a single harpie lady. And theres hardcopy variants of all the rituals and i believe fusions in the game 1 per duelist that are 1/2048 drops lmao. Sick af if you do manage to get normal summonable blue eyes ultimate tho

I doubt it. It's so easy to spam out monsters through special summons (which still aren't limited) these days so that's hardly a restriction.

Yeah, more generic Extra Deck bosses that kinda drain the novelty out of decks. But hey, at least they're useful!

Melffy is a lot of fun and they've got some cool Synchro plays of their own.

Too grindy. I think you start with about 1100 points for your entire 40 card deck, average 300 atk monster is 16 to 25 deck capacity points. 500 is 45 to 60. 700 is about 72. You get 1 dp per duel win, 3 if you beat them for the first time. A vanilla monster with 800 atk and def cost about 82 to 90 or so deck capacity. Very fast and early npc duelists start summoning 900+ atk monsters. Also your life points do not rejuvenate after each duel, you have to travel to your home computer to reset your lp total. There's more than that, but that alone should paint a picture of how unnecessarily grindy reshef of destruction is.

@hamsandwich6685 i recently played through most of the early gba and DS games, and Reshef is one of my favorites. I personally didn't mind the grind. Yeah, it is very grindy, but maybe a modded version that addresses the life point heal issue and the slow deck level system might make it more tolerable for other people.

@@92EEM sure, i can understand how you enjoy that game. I liked sacred cards more, and the jump in grind from sacred cards to reshef was like jumping from the easy difficulty to extreme mode. I would like a step up from sacred cards, but a couple steps down from reshef in grind/difficulty curve. If the duelist dp drop rate was 10 the first duel, and 5 every subsequent duel, that already would help a lot and is not too far off from what it is. The most annoying thing is the start of every turn field check in duels. They could just ommit the animation of the cursor rapidly sliding around all of both fields and it would be better. The start of turn pause would also be annoying, but less than with that animation. I wanted to like reshef of destruction, but it burned me out at around the time when pegasus was revealed and i was non stop dueling this green goon guys on a gondala, and my lp would just get lower and lower. The game had potential but it asked a bit much of the player ultimately. The way cards worked was an upgrade though.

@@apsamplifierhonestly seems a good choice, I’m on the RDA deck so I don’t know what the other synchro players are on but when I match up against a fusion player it’s normally chimera or tear, branded got hit fairly hard. For XYZs (and most of what I’ve faced) seems to be Kashtira and Purrley. Interestingly relates to your discussion about not quitting to fast because it takes me some mental fortitude not to immediately quit when I see Kashtira Unicorn I have to be honest 😂

There's definitely A LOT of stuff that could be up for a ban, but at some point you just give up.

​@@apsamplifier would def recommend trying out rescue-ace. it is my personal favorite. it's recursion is some of the best in the game. and it has access to both the fire and warrior domain, meaning that you have access to one of the best cardpools in the format. also you get to play a bunch of kaiju style cards.

I hear you. We all play Yugioh differently and for different reasons

@@apsamplifier For sure. I definitely get your perspective. Your opponent's board is a puzzle to solve and sometimes you fail to solve the puzzle. Sometimes the puzzle is unsolvable because you are missing pieces. Losses are a part of the game and people do need to be less mad about losing. I just wanted to defend the folks jumping out of game at frame 1 of an annoying card showing up on screen because some of them might have good reason to do so. Much love man!
