Make sure to go and say hello to Saronne over on her wonderful channel: ru-vid.com/show-UCYqj9ViZ4d4AiMR1KgETykg 😀I am also on the search for more gardens to film this summer and they can be anywhere in the UJ. Please nominate either your garden, or one you love (must be food-related gardens) to nominate@regenerative.media - for any gardens that are filmed you will receive a signed copy of all 3 of my books and a generous seed voucher as a thank you!🌿
The sheer magnitude of generosity among gardeners renews my faith in humanity and warms my spirit. So happy you showcased Saronne's amazing gardens and also deeply touched at how generous you are, Huw. Thank you.
What a beautiful garden and gardener! I’m new to vegetable gardening and only was interested in flowers before because I thought of veg gardens as boring, not very eye-pleasing rows and a fight with weeds. The no dig poly culture concept of gardening has completely changed that! Thank you for sharing all your amazing ideas and videos!!😊
Hello Madam, I am Nimol Morn from Cambodia. Yes, I am interested in your program very much. Every day, I am a Farmer also so I like to see the new things too.
I think it's great that you bring on other gardeners and support/promote their channel! Thanks for your lovely content and expanding our vision for what can be done:)
Oh I like so much your new othergardeners story-film-videos. It is wonderful and films are so nice. Thank you very much for what you do, I really believe that you make the world better and greener 💚🌱🌾🦋
Hearing Saronne speak about her approach to gardening fuels my fire to one day have a holding of my own. To me, that kind of life is the pinnacle of riches. Such is a wealth that far exceeds any monetary standard. I will not give up until I get there. 🌷
One of the key takeaways from this video to me is when she says, "I like to be in control of what I eat". And, it is beautiful to see so many flowers to attract the pollinators to her garden. Love it!
Приветствую вас из России! Я к сожалению не поняла ни слова ) но смотреть было приятно, понравился ваш сад. У нас тоже не большой огородик. На лето нам хватает своей зелени и мы получаем огромное удовольствие от этого. Удачи !
I love your garden. I’m so happy you got to realise your dream. As a fellow Speech Therapist moving slowly towards the same dream it’s awesome seeing you live it out. X
Huw, thanks for introducing us to Saronne. Like Saronne, I incorporate flowers into my vegetable garden and I enjoy how it looks and appreciate the benefits of having so many pollinators around the garden. It's going to be a fun journey to meet all the wonderful people you will introduce us to through your channel and then we get to subscribe to their channels! Thanks, Huw!
Another fabulous inspirational video, thank you Huw for introducing us to some brilliant and encouraging gardeners ,It is lovely to see other peoples set up and what they are growing in the UK
Oh the garden speaks to my heart. It is heaven on earth! I am trying do something similar here in California. Home grown food tastes so good.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
so awesome! my biggest dream is to live and learn with someone like you for a while. so i can have this same life just in my way. i long to have a garden as amazing as this!!! this is inspiring ♡ thankyou
Great garden. My suburban garden is a dig garden due to the tough grass I have over here In Cape Town, South Africa. I started it in 2021 and I dug up the grass, made a strange shape bed with concrete slabs and large cement bricks i had on hand. I covered the soil with cardboard and cut holes in the cardboard and inserted "grow tubes" (made from soda bottles cut into tubes) in the holes and planted veggies in the grow tubes. I have had a huge harvest for a starter garden and will turn it into a food forest in time. I also planted 7 trees and 1 died, but I will grow more and dig trenches to catch as much water as I can. I am also going to put in water catchment drums in my back yard.
I've learned that in my area a lot of things that are more delicate need to be planted in January, since our temperatures rarely get below 0C, last frost is usually in February, and by June the temperatures reach the mid-thirties. So naturally I'm planting frantically right now 😅
You are what you eat. I do believe it's true. Thank you for this wonderful video. The world really needs people like you to inspire others to grow their own food and be free.
Hello Saronne. Your tomatoes look very delicious. I like the fact that you say your garden is very informal because how my garden is, since it so small. I just push seeds where I see a little patch. This is encouraging, thank you.
@@HuwRichards My pleasure. As a chef, now farmer, Herrington Farms is my other account, learning is an ingredient. Your production value, information, and overall passion w/ love can be felt. Just like when great chefs cook, the love always transcends into their dishes if the love is present. Love is an ingredient.
Yes!! I knew this series would be amazing, and this one was so inspiring! I loved the mindset and the life and gardening lessons shared... and all of the beautiful garden shots, the bees, flowers, goats, chickens and ducks, and all the yummy veggies too! Thank you for the glimpse into a well lived life, and the introduction to another channel, too!
Lovely. So much gardening wisdom. And ultimately also life wisdom. Having such a garden and view of the world allows you to be independent and be confident that you will always have something to eat.
