John Doe I don't really know what you meant by "untranslated" but ill just say what i think you meant. I thougt you meant that in (RUS), they sychronize their voices, it is like making thise actors speak Russian when they are actully speaking English. In that case i am happy that i grew up in a country that doesnt do that. I am from Serbia, and once i traveled to Slovakia. And all programs on the tv was dubed for their language, so out off all chanels/programs i couldn't understand anything. Becouse i don't speak Slovakian and all their movies and tv shows that they are airing are dubed/synced for their language. And Serbian and Slovakian are a lot of different. So yeah i couldn't watch the tv... Sorry for such a long comment lol
Putinisgood I dont have any needs to argue with a brainless person that has no respect for others and is not polite. It only shows how badly you are raised, and you are just showing others how your parents thougt you to behave. So yeah, bye.
ArsenaL - I am sure John Doe meant dubbing. Meaning in his country, the movies are dubbed with Russian voice actors. I think in most European countries they dub American movies except for UK, because they don't have to.... I know that they do this in Germany and France too... In Serbia you don't do this? I am really surprised. In my country on the first week a movie comes out in cinema they show it dubbed but they also show it with original voice and subtitles. Then next week it's only dubbed. And in TV it's just dubbed shows everywhere.
It is SO weird to watch these interviews! I always forget that these people are actors when I finish watching the films lol! It's like "oh yeah...they aren't actually mutants". Thank you for the upload :)
I think an unknown should be a younger Wolverine. And they should do a massive casting search for the right guy to play him. Nobody but Hugh Jackman can be Wolverine right now. It's hard to picture anyone as Wolverine. Only Jackman truly fits the role right now.
+Elisa K. There is no reason for a " younger " wolverine. He lived long before anything they would make a movie out of. Because of his lack of aging, he can even play roles of 80 + years in the past.
The Klespyrian Hugh Jackman is not going to stay young forever. Even he is speaking about it realistically in this interview. And Wolverine is supposed to be almost ageless for ages and ages. I love Hugh Jackman, but eventually they will need to get a younger actor for the role. They can only keep Hugh Jackman if they do roles of the far future. And when Wolverine will start to look older. So far, they have emphasized his youthfulness due to regeneration. So in due time there will be a need for a younger actor to play Wolverine. Not anytime soon, in the far future. The way you are putting it makes not sense. He played older roles. He will probably play older roles in the future. But he's not going to be Wolverine forever in real life. Just in film.
Elisa K. It sounded like you were talking about the near future, not a long time from now. I don't see why they would keep making x-men movies by the time he is so old that he can't be in them. They don't need to keep being made forever.
+The Klespyrian True, possibly it will never happen. But I believe in the X-men franchise. Yes, I did use right now, which was not the proper wording. Anyways. I do hope they keep making X-men movies. And that Wolverine is rebooted. But not soon. Probably later. But life is not fair. They might get a younger actor and do a reboot sooner. To me it seems the X-men so far is going to keep going strong for some years yet. Since the franchise has been rebooted so soon. Have to wait for someone to make a bad one to make them stop. Reminds me of Star Trek: Enterprise. The last series, just didn't have what they needed to keep it going. I loved it, but not enough people did, sadly. And I never finished watching that series. Nor Space Nine. I do admit I didn't like Space Nine. But I still plan to watch the whole Enterprise series someday. But other things get prioritized ahead of them. And I am not drowning in money. Life sometimes sucks. I have issues. That's life.
Elisa K. I think X-men first class was pretty terrible and days of future past only slightly better, That is just my opinion on the matter. ( Don't get me wrong, both the movies were entertaining to me, I just found them poorly made :/ )
I agree, no one can replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine! He's the best at it. They're just going to have to CGI him or do some other movie magic if they want him to look younger or something.
wow watched this because i thought it would be a cute vid of cute james mcavoy laughing almost non-stop but got a somewhat informative and insightful interview video instead. someone is good at writing clickbait youtube video titles because i was sure sucked in
They should retire the Wolverine character when Jackman is done with it. Let X-23 or Daken become Wolverine instead. Don't recast Logan. Give him a Old-Man Logan arc and let him die in god damn peace.
Lucía MR Mota lol I never have a problem with British/Scottish/irish/aussie accents but people who talk with a heavy southern american accent they may as well have marbles in their mouths
Putinisgood not for somebody who doesn't even speak english as her first language! Although I have to admit that after 3 hours and a couple of replays those accents were easier to understand. :) First time I heard Mcavoy(and Richard Madden) speaking I swear to god that my dog was easier to understand than them (no offense).
"When you're done with it you need to retire the character" Wow did he ever, you literally can't make another movie with Wolverine now that Hugh is done with it.
I thought this was gonna be a big laugh, he giggles a little bit and it turns into a title as if it's some spectacle. He literally laughs at some point in every video featuring him.
that troye sivan was in? the xmen origins; wolverine film. if you're talking about the teen mutants thats pretty much first class, days of future past and apocalypse.
funny how he's grown up now and he turned into the gayest looking person ever. nothing wrong with being gay, but regardless of whether he turned out straight or gay, he just looks super super gay. not really the kind of look that suits wolverine, unfortunately.
maybe its just because they are wearing a similar outfit but James McAvoy actually looks like he could pull off a younger smaller Wolverine. wont happen and no one can replace Hugh but still i even even considered it until now
Tom Hardy should be the new Wolverine, it's not as if actors haven't played two different superhero movie roles before. I also have to say that Hardy has the capability to completely blow Jackman's version away. Hardy is such a physical, visceral actor, perfect for Wolverine.
Jakeb Damwyk Lol, I didn't intentionally steal Jackman's pick. It's possible I heard him say it then forgot, but at the time I was just thinking about Hardy's performance in Mad Max.
***** There's no way they are going to retire a cash cow, Wolverine will probably become a Bondish character where you pass the baton on more than any other X-Men character, well I suppose you will always need a Professor X as well. I haven't watched the video above in a long while but I think Jackman says the same basically.
An original choice for Wolverine was Russel Crowe. Which I can totally see in that first movie. But he would not have kept it up in the series. Jackman was the right choice. Luck plays a big part in your success in life most of the time.
Whoever they find to replace Hugh needs to be shorter. Hugh does a great job that we forget that he's a full foot taller than Wolverine...but when you see him on Conan you're like wth, he's really tall. Wolverine is supposed to be short and stocky...Hugh had to bulk up and again he does fill the role well, the only thing is he's too tall. Scott Caan, for example would work pretty well...he's 5'5, just 2" taller than Wolverine's 5'3 To give you an idea of how tall Wolverine is supposed to be, imagine David Faustino. That's how tall. But he definitely does not look the part, whereas you give Scott Caan a cigar and he's more than halfway there.
