I don't think the sailing world has ever seen anyone quite like Alex Thomson. He's quietly becoming the Evel Knievel of the sport! His stunts are well planned and fun to watch!

Was he really holding on with just one hand, 300 feet in the air, with hundreds of pounds of tension in those lines, when he released the line to the boat? I hope there was a harness that I just couldn't really see.

Pardon, je suis désolé. Vous devez avoir raison. Mais ces vêtements exceptionnels ont fini par ne plus l'être tant que cela puisqu'ils ont été les uniformes de millions de nazis. Et ces types exceptionnels ne l'ont plus été tant que cela puisqu'ils se sont retrouvés des millions. Tout cela n'a plus rien eu d'exceptionnel car c'est devenu la norme. Too bad this charming, enigmatic, competitor was sabotaged by his team in the current Vendée globe competition.. They had to have KNOWN his boat was poorly designed / built . Why else would they have loaded him with so many spares...? Akin to carrying 4 spare tires on a drive between Paris and London .
