02:41 If you remember, while watching WHO IS NEXT, in an episode, Winner's Mino was meeting with the leader of another group and talking about leadership, and that was Zico. Mino and Zico have been friends since childhood and both performed together as underground rappers. Mino and Zico have been friends for a long time and both performed together as underground rappers. They even entered the same company as trainees and almost debuted in the same group, but Mino later parted ways with that company. After GD, the trio Mino, Zico, Bobby were not seen as idol rappers, but became famous as rappers who gained respect in the Korean hip-hop community. Funfact Zico and Mino are the only idols who are producers and judges in Korea's most famous rap competition Show Me The Money. The fact that they are judges to evaluate other rappers is proof of how accepted and respected they are in the hip-hop scene haha

Nice that you are going down the Epik High route. I think you would like to see Tablo (from Epic High) / Dok 2 and also our GDragon ( Bigbang of course) live on stage ( the Eng Subs are so good) - It was a song used a lot with a TV show recently called Street Woman Fighter. Many did not associate the song with GD and Tablo and Dok 2.. but 'older timers' know where it came from. Hope you enjoy it.

Epik high is close to big bang, tablo the rapper is practically like brothers w gd and taeyang. He also speaks kor and eng and graduated with Lit degree from a prestigious US uni if I'm not wrong. Zico is a known idol-rapper, like Ravi and Bobby. He's also a huge bigbang fan and always repping G-Dragon as his biggest influence

I definitely recommend Zico’s killing verse, his raps/beats are fantastic and it has English subs so the lyrics can be appreciated too!

Epik High There are 3 members (Tablo , Mitra , DJ Tukuz) Tablo Being called a genius in writing lyrics Both Korean and English. He was born in Canada and graduated from Stanford University. And his IQ is still as high as 160. Zico is the producer of the song "Fear" (Mino Feat Taeyang) He is one of the best idol rappers. He's so talented that he even became a mentor for smtm4 (the year Mino was runner-up).

Zico is from BLOCK B (no longer active - as far as i know) but he also has a lot of solo songs (that are bangers i think you'd like them) - he's a great lyricist and makes really good beats too -- no you cant, anti, bermuda triangle are some of my faves from him Epik High, im sure alot has mentioned, is a legendary group -- they are what one would call an idol's idol -- suga and rm from bts has mentioned looking up to epik high ( and they're good friends now and do collabs) -- mino and bobby have also featured on their songs -- tablo the first rapper is one of the best lyricists , he's known for being smart and just writing poetry at this point (eyes, nose lips tablo x taeyang is enough proof of this) -- from epik high you should check, born hater, no thanks, cave me in (this is just with tablo), home is far away and just additionally - "i paved the way, for everyone that is paving the way" is such a great line , it makes me sad that some people dont know the weight of that line but he's essentially saying yes they paved the way but i am the one who made them start paving the way -- so good

Mino was supposed to debut with Block B but fail due to some contract issues, which is blessing in disguise cause he ended up as Winner;s Rapper! ho! ho!
