Funny story about Brian Knobs: my husband use to work security in a bar in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. Knobs came to the bar (already drunk off his ass) and refuses to pay the $5 cover, playing the "Don't you know who I am?!" card. Everyone who worked the bar scene back then knew about Knobs and were quietly trying to blacklist him from the bars there. Dude spit on my hubby and started just being an overall ass. Another guy, about 21-25 years old, with dreadlocks came out to help the situation and get Knobs off the property. Knobs grabs this kids dreadlocks and pulled on them while calling him N word. Dreads leaned back and cold cocked him. TKO on the sidewalk. Police where called and they took Knobs away. Knobs tried to sue, but the owner installed cameras outside, which caught everything. Not sure about legal matters, but Knobs was banned from the place afterwards. Story has been verfied by my husband and the two bartenders/owners at the time.

As a former Indy wrestler and owner, I loved this show, showed the fans and nonfans alike what we go through to train and learn the moves and shows anyone can get in the ring with the right training

Brian! Fun little factoid: the maker of Hogan's CCW belt was Wildcat Belts, the same maker of YOUR RU-vid Championship! Btw, according to WC's pricing model at the time, the belt ran about $500-600 in its cost since he was still running on brass plates and not yet running on zinc ones.

So so hyped to see a new video but then saw the RIP for Mean Gene. Then I got sad again : ( . I remember Gene was interviewing Hogan he always started with "WELL LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING MEAN GENE." Still not as good as Flair starting his interview with Mean Gene by saying "MEEEEEEAAAAN...BY GOD GENE!!!!"

R.I.P. Gene Okerlund As for the actual topic, this was definitely fixed even for wrestling! Rodman already had experience as a professional wrestler so he shouldn’t of even been allowed! That being said, it wasn’t bad but it’s nothing I would want to see revived! Good review on it though!

I've been waiting for this video for a while! I thought I was the only one who remembered it. I remember watching it as a kid when at the time I didn't know the difference between good wrestling and bad wrestling. Oh, the simpler times.

I'm glad these contestants are just doing it for a laugh, because I can't think of many worse ways to start an actual wrestling career than being taught by Brutus Beefcake and Brian Knobs how to wrestle for the approval of Hulk Hogan.

I really enjoyed this and the training scenes I wished there was more seasons

I remember watching this when it first came out, I never heard of any of the celebrities, but that was how I felt in all celebrity shows when I was younger. I had only recently gotten into wrestling too, so I didn’t know about Dennis Rodman being in the NWO, however, he and Todd Bridges were my 2 favourite picks to win, so I was really happy when they were the final 2. The show seemed to be a good idea, I was actually surprised it never got a second series.

Also, Diamond, Bridges, Bonaduce, and Stallone were all on TruTV's clip show World's Dumbest. Butterbean even appeared in a clip on the show (but the person who failed was a Polish singer whose Star-Spangled Banner performance made Roseanne Barr at that Padres game look like Marvin Gaye at the NBA All-Star Game in '83 by comparison.
