I got this camera, set up was the same but I had to sign up for Cloud or it wouldnt let me use it. So I signed up and made payment. Camera was clear, alarmed, did everything it said for a week then it wouldnt connect. So I started again and it kept saying it cant connect to reset camera, which I did, after the 11th time of failing and it just wouldnt connect I cancelled the Cloud and threw it in the bin. I paid for 1 month and got 1 week. Pity as the visual on it was so clear and was great when it worked.
Great video. Unfortunately, I watched it after I threw away all the wrapping which included the little card. It is connected to y WIFI and paired but how can I use it without the cloud. I want to use it and get used to it before I buy into the cloud.
I want to use it like a ring camera on my porch in over head light fixture . My question how do u get it to alert phone when ur not on actual app besides the alarm feature . I only want to be notified not have loud alarm going off outside when I'm not there ?
Thankyou so much for your insightful video. What I need to know is if you purchase more than one of these like say one for each door and one for inside which I just did. Can they all be hooked up to the app Noone is saying what to do if you get multiple bulbs. Mine are on the way so I really don't know.
I bought this camera, it works fine inside the house, but I tried hooking it up outside on the porch. I wouldn't record. It also came with a sim card. If I use the sim card will it work outside?
I have an iPhone 13 set to 2.4 gig , I have WiFi Light Bulb, downloaded the YI IoT app.and filled in all necessary details . Location user name etc.. got it to where you add camera. I have tried anywhere from where the bulb starts up lights on and beeps to every other option imaginable . I have excellent internet , was close to router and it does everything but connect. Anyone with ideas would be really appreciated.
Hey great video.Just a simple question.I am eagerly waiting for mine to be posted out and was wondering when you switch switch you your router to 2.4 ghz and once its connected, can you switch back to 5ghz and will it still be still be good to go.?As leaving it on 2.4ghz is a little slow for streaming movies as i tried last night.Any advise will be great. hello i need your help badly. so my camea came and its not easy to hook up. there is no 1 800 number to call . it wont connect to my internet and i dont know why or what im doing wrong
Just received one of these JXLCAM!! It is noting like this set up! It did connect it stated, yet it stated that the connection code is invalid! The set up using their scanner box does not do anything that is stated in this video! It sucks big time!! Even when deleting the app and reloading the app! What a waste of money and time!!
@@newtechunboxing Yeah or just remember and scope it out for next time and take proper precautions like wearing a mask and coming from a different angle 😏 lol
@@newtechunboxing There needs to be like some super loud alarm sound that goes off when you unscrew it unless you manually turn it off with your phone first or something some kind of failsafe.. If not it’s just a waste of money
As i understand with this, you have to take a subscription or it stops working completely, I think it still records to ad but, you can't access it via the app, you have to remove the sd to view footage.
To save our viewing time, you should have jumped ahead during YOUR download times so 2 minutes seems like 10 seconds to us. Otherwise, this setup is way too complicated and time consuming.

Yeah don’t purchase this. Mine went offline after three days so I assume they want me to purchase a subscription which I’m not going to. This is going back to Amazon.
