Hi everyone, I just want to let you know to please pay attention to whether you have the newer or older barrel, apparently they changed, and to the degree that the newer version of the barrel from FX does not unthread you have to remove the whole bottom piece and get a replacement section between the transfer port in the bottom of the barrel. So if you need to do that, please pay attention to your gun, and don’t do what I did and order it and then find out but in my defense, they did not have any literature out or any way of finding this information out until I did it. I’m actually the one who told HUMA air about this issue. So please be aware of that. Also some testing, and I apologize for the new scope that was not zeroed yet but I got it zeroed pretty quickly so you can see how tight the grouping is .

I’m not sure what that means? This is an old video, back when I first started doing them. This was from my iPhone I didn’t even have real cameras yet or microphones or anything.

Question? What size is the opposing port in the block/valve port. Can you show a picture of the port? Thx

I can tell you that it is at least 50% smaller on the slug side, and the bigger problem is that it has a hole on one side for pellets, and the double hole with the line in the middle, so slugs do not fall through on the opposite side, so even when you have the slug side down a lot of the air is going to escape through that pallet hole. The human transfer holes are just on one side and they are so much larger. It doesn’t even compare, I think 30 caliber is like 127% of the size so more than double 25 caliber was a little bit less and 22 a little bit less, but still, in comparison, they look massive, and the biggest part is that that hole on the opposite side is no longer there . All your energy is focused in the right place.

I can’t really find a way to upload a picture and a reply, I’m happy to show you the difference in size, but I’m sure you can Google it and find it also. There’s several videos just about the size difference because huma makes really good stuff! That’s why I have so much of their stuff in my gun. Like the main regulator, transfer port on every barrel, tungsten hammer, power kit, second bottle kit for Pantera coming tomorrow. Anything I need that huma makes I order it there because they do a tremendous amount of RND, and they come up with a superior product. Better than FX original.

Make a video with thes of speed with old and new trabsfer port on .25, please! Are u use huma trasferport V2? Wich moder FX rifle U have?

Yes, it’s the V 2 transfer port, and I use it on both my impacts, both my crowns, and my Pantera. I wouldn’t be able to make a video just on that because I made other modifications at the same time. I didn’t just do that one thing and then test it, I did the regulator, the high flow transfer port, the tungsten hammer and spring, and slug power kit all at the same time

If there is something specific you would like to know about it, I’m happy to help you out. Honestly I use those flow transfer ports on every FX gun. The only time I don’t use them is when I’m using pellets in a competition, then I go to the Pellet, transfer port, and Pellet probe. Otherwise, I’m always using a slug probe, and high flow port.

@@Cjsairgunscarsandmachining I would like to know how much more fps i can have in .25 if I replace the original FX trasfert port with the huma V2 one? I have FX maverick VP in .25 with stok V shape stransfer port (from end of 2022 FX make V shape port stok) and huma power kit. I would like to have more +35fps (+10m/s) if is less for this,this huma port will be useless for me.

@@PETRAKOV1 well, I can assure you one thing it’s not going to be less, my FX impact. For instance, I have the high flow transfer pour the tungsten hammer, the slug power kit with heavier, hammer, spring and lighter return, spring, huma, regulator, a ton of work done to it and I can get a 41.5, grain 22 caliber slug almost 1100 ft./s. Is that fast enough?

@@PETRAKOV1 for 25 caliber, my FX Pantera is 25 caliber, has almost all of the same modifications, only a shoot 48, grain 25 caliber or 50 grain 25 caliber, and I get up to 1050 to 1100 ft./s no problem

I actually have all three calibers, 22 caliber, 25 caliber, and 30 caliber, probes, barrels, carbon, fiber, liners, and Bayonne made tension barrels. So I can switch between calibers. So I use the pin probe when I’m using the 30 caliber barrel and two magazines for each.

Hopefully you were able to find some thing more budget friendly, unfortunately, my experience so far with the M3 I bought it for around 2400 and I’ve put easily 2500 more without the $2000 scope on it, so budget and FX don’t really go together, on the other hand, the Pantera is 2000, and you don’t need to modify anything for it to be a really powerful gun. And they do have other guns from FX that are powerful and inexpensive.

This is an old video, I appreciate the input, I’m no videographer, so I’ve been taking suggestions. I got a mic, been trying to do more close ups etc. I’ll get better over time, but as long as the message is getting through and I can try to help people out, that’s what I do them for.
