Stainless steel barrel sleeve & Huma Air caliber exchange kit

Hi , thx for the support!! I am not the creator or maker of these sleeves but the things I know is that the OD=14mm the ID is slightly smaller then the original, front threads are 1/2unf the back threads i don’t know

No solution for that , I won’t fit as the wall of the ss is thicker, but with the rvs sleeve there is no need for the cf liner sleeve

The caliber exchange kit should be still on there website, the stainless sleeves where from a private guy but he doesn’t make them anymore

Hi , that’s information I don’t have . Inside the barrels there is the OEM liner from FX . If you need that information there are many good groups in FB with some very technical people that might be able to answer that

Hi mate , I am not able to advise you on that yet as I don’t have any of the cf liner sleeves yet 🙈 but with the 500 mm sleeve on a 600mm liner you should be able to use the extension

Oei sorry to here that 🙈 I don’t use the carbon sleeve yet , I will have to try it once FX has there’s released .

Nice video indeed, But i have the same problem, i ordered 2 sleeves and did recieved them but the threads are not straight If you put a huma transferport on the sleeves and roll it over something flat, you see that there is an offset What i mean is that the threads in the rvs sleeves are not in the centre And by pushing it in my Fx Impact, it wil not go into the breach blok because it is not allignt So i also regred to buy it

Hi , yes this is just a sleeve that houses the barrel liners from FX . The sleeve is made out of stainless steel and therefore more ridged then the aluminum sleeve that comes with the rifle . Although FX is going to release a carbon fiber sleeve that fits around the liners to give a similar rigid result

They ar more stiff and don’t flex as much, it gives better harmonics and more forgiving if your tune isn’t spot on

There is no complete kit for this , the guy makes only the sleeves . The caliber change kit and liners can be bought from Huma

Not really, I am still the most accurate with a 700mm barrel . The length offcours makes it so that it flexes a little therefore some simple additions like a SS sleeves or carbon fiber sleeve can help a great deal . It’s a good suggestion with the short barrel but have you ever seen a sniper shoot a short barrel 😉

No the sleeves are not Available true Huma , there is a e-mail adres to the guy who makes them in the description. The extension piece only fits to the muzzle end 🤷‍♂️

The extension works with every caliber it just extends by 100mm 👍🏻

It very easy , just unscrew the shroud form de barrel . Loosen the 1/2 unf nut on the end and pull out your liner 🤷‍♂️

I haven’t installed the carbon sleeve on the SS barrel 🤔 the inner diameter of the SS might be smaller then the original sleeves

@@Airbuks yeah it is I'm going with the orings. If you wanna get the orings to stay on the barrel we're you put them on the sleeve wrap a thin layer of duct tape behind each one and when you push the barrel in they'll stay were you want them.

It’s still flexing but a lot less then the original, it’s easier to get better harmonics

Hi there, not 100%sure what you mean 🤔 if you want to convert a 25 barrel to a 22 you will need to buy the caliber exchange kit from Huma for the correct caliber . Or do you mean something else ?

@@Airbuks sorry my bad english and thanks a lot for quick answer. İ have stx 700mm 25cal barrel set. İ bouth from huma superior liner (just liner) and slug power kit + 22cal mag. İ want to put my 25 cal sleve , jam , and sst adaptor which i already have to this new 22cal superior liner. İs it posible or all cal jam&sst adaptors has different sizes ?

No worries mate , what do you mean with jam and SST adaptor

@@Airbuks if u look at the huma caliber exchange set there is one dual port and pin-pellet prob. And two other parts small one is (jam) which u put at the front of the liner. Big one is (sst adaptor) which one u put between dual port and liner. Those tho parts are same for 22 and 25cal ?

@@artofairgun oké I understand now sorry for that , the caliber exchange kits are caliber dependent. So you need a different one for 22 and 25

I have changed my orings with electrical tape , very easy to get a perfect fit and is still soft enough

I don’t make them myself as I mention in the video but I believe there are over 100 sold 🤔 It’s a great upgrade but I think with the carbon fiber sleeves and shrouds these days you can achieve the same results

No the liner that has to be inside will be a custom size I will have to make . I could have asked him to make me one that fits a 380 but then the barrel was going to be a tad to long for the build I envisioned 😉

@@Airbuks smooth twist X superior can be used pellet slug 21 gr up to 34 gr ?

@@daiwangel the superior liner I would use for pellets and slugs ( max 26gr ) for heavier slugs unwound use the superior X liner

They are not a tight fit otherwise you need a barrel per caliber . So you still need to use something like a oring . I personally use shrink tube to put on the liners

@jaro don’t really know what size it is but I use the closest size and add one until I get a snug fit

@@h2oacua936 hi , I asked them and it’s exactly the same size as the original FX one . You can find the exploded view and sizes from the support page of FX on the website

@@Airbuks According to FX Impact MK II the inner o-ring of the tranfer is 6.40 x 1.30 mm. I have this measurement in the original transfer but in the new V2 transfer it is not this measurement since I have explosions (loss of air in each shot) and that means that it has to be the same as the Impact M3 which is 6.35 x 1.30mm. You find that the slug pusher needle measures 6.46mm in diameter and the original one is 6.43mm in diameter. It is very clear that every time a new transfer is manufactured, the measurements change since these are not manufactured by FX but other companies such as many accessories that can be installed in the FX. @@Airbuks I put a short video in youtube with very bad quality but you can see the speed and consistency of the Huma regulator with the pin probe, hi flow tranfert port and the soft valve spring from huma 65grains NSA 1028-1030 fps

FYI , love the Huma single feed you designed , I will probably never use the rotary cartridge supplied by FX , the accuracy with so many pellets is improved dramatically !

@@MasonStormSunny hi , I haven’t come around to that 🙈 I have a lot of stuff that came in between . But rest assured they preform very well. But don’t expect they are going to tight your groups to practically one hole , the biggest advantage is that it’s easier to get a good tune compared then the original ones and so in some cases when people have a poor tune it can improve the accuracy a lot . But if your on top of your game and you already have a awesome tune , you could getaway with some higher or lower velocities and still have the same accuracy. Hope I made it understandable 😬 so not easy to bring that on screen

These are just the sleeves itself, you can transfer all the parts from your original barrel to it . The 100mm part fits to the original one 👍🏻 The sleeves fit 177 to 30 But to be sure on all that there is a e-mail in the description to the guy who makes them

Confusing huma side, what do I need for the fx Dreamline Tac Compact 22cal , if I won't only the better components for pellets 🤔 without getting over 16joule.

They are at least as accurate as the original ones , but I still have to do some more testing . The biggest benefit is that there is a lot less flex in it

I am afraid not , the SS tube has the same OD diameter as the original but the ID is a little smaller then te original and the CF liner sleeves won’t fit .At least not on mine . There is a e-mail address in the video description to the guy who makes/made them he might be able to help you with a more solid answer
