This gave me the stank face. That SWAC sound is one of a kind. I wish HBCU Administrations would give HBCU music programs more funding so they could develop top tier Jazz & Black Art programs. Why don’t we have a HBCU equivalent to Juilliard & just do it our own way? Fuck it I ever get famous & get the money Ima start one. They started the New School why cant we get a black led art conservatory.
Bones and btones do not have the same part..this is comin from a former member of the jukebox. I played in this band video so please don't try and correct me, its pointless.
two hearts was lord knows how many yrs ago, the only thing thats not sloppy in SU band are their btones, mellos, and sometimes the tubas. The tbones were none existent and so were the trumpets.
@btoneking05 the ham jukebox is the best all around band period. You say sloppy you are wrong. Two hearts & love saw it was arranged by a true legend. Were you at this game probably not. Jukes run everything and are every where. We can't help that we are the best bad there is.
Uh, dude..."Two Hearts" and "Love Saw It" are two ballads. This is a rap tune...lol. I like how folks try and seperate musicians and bandheads at their own convienance for arguments sake. Even when they like something of SU's (and, probably watched it hundreds of times, already), they just gotta have something to say, anyway. A bandhead/musician wrote this...bandheads/musicians played this...and, bandhead/musicians luv the shat out of this. So, why complain just to be complaining?...o_O
@lcb816kc jukebox marches from 128 to about 215. Average size is about 170. We don't have to be a big band to have power and we have been blowing on bands like this for years !!!!!!!!!!!!!

What instrument did you not hear, since you think it's unbalanced? Cuz, I sure as hell heard every one of 'em in this All-Brass band. If your answer is any of the woodwinds on this rap tune, just go ahead and slap yourself before and after you hit "Post".
you must be in the twilight zone! what do you young band members think a marching band is suppose to sound like? symphonic band is next semester. su is the ideal marching band and I did not attend southern.
